  1. OK...here comes the cynicism in me coming out again. Me thinks this just *might* be a way for Princess to stretch this out even further than what has been reported. I certainly hope that this is not the case...but we've all heard the stories about trying to get refunds!
  2. Clarification... You can buy them on the app once you are on board.
  3. I take that to mean that instead of a "normal" sliding door that it is hinged "swinging" door.
  4. It *might* slow you down by 1-2 minutes...if that. They are waiting in a sorted bin behind the check in desk (usually) and it's just a matter of the person turning around and reaching into the bin...
  5. Guaranteed that you will see a delay going that route. That form will just sit on somebody's desk until they get around to dealing with it. Buy via the app! That way, it is "posted" into the system that day. It may not show in your princess.com account until the next day....
  6. Wow! This is huge! I have always hated the way the timeline is/was presented in the app. Now it looks a bit more like the "old" system from shipname.princess.com.

  8. I would hazard a guess that it would be very easy to train new personnel to perform these processes in a fairly short period of time. Especially compared to the training that would be required for a phone/chat rep who would have to cover a wide gamut of topics to be considered "trained". But I agree...small steps add up!
  9. And lest we forget...these refunds are not handled directly by Princess. (I forget the name that has been bandied about...) Let's play "I'm cynical"! (I'm really good at this game, BTW!) That firm could very well have processed the refund, cut a check, stuffed it into an envelope and run it through their "in house" postage meter...which is very common for businesses of any size to have/use. Then...they "conveniently" let these checks just sit on a shelf for x number of days. Who knows what type of contractual agreement they have with Princess if a check just "mysteriously" is not cashed within the allotted time? HHmmmmm....
  10. While I have not personally tried this...I would think that if you just log into the website as the other person (hence all of the OBC available) you could then book the excursion(s) wanted and it come out of the account that you originally wanted...

  15. Annual certainly sounds like the way to go...how about telling us which company/policy you've used? And...have you filed claims (successfully) through it?
  16. If it shows on your cruise personalizer then there should be no question...
  17. You would be better off contacting the events department on the ship to get an official meeting time/place. Otherwise...you could very well be bumped again. Sorry, I don't know the actual email address to use.
  18. I had this for a while on Saturday. Tried 3 browsers. Finally just waited a while (there might have been a reboot in there for another reason). Next time I went in (at least a couple hours) it was working. I heard later that they were doing some type of site maintenance (again). They very well may have done something that messed with your cookies. Try clearing browser cache.
  19. 3. There will not be any "scaling back" of announcements or such. They will present everything on the second leg as if all are new passengers...which is really the only way to approach this.
  20. Clarification please...Did you get the Plus cruise fare option or is this an add-on Plus beverage package? Princess really dropped the ball with this confusing use of terminology using "Plus"!

  22. Going to have to show my ignorance here...what is "music walk"? If it's a typo I couldn't figure out what was really meant...
