  1. I understand what the offer is, just trying to clarify since there have been some posts implying there's no restrictions. The truth is more nuanced which is important since changes to the dining experience menu costs extra so it's no longer a fully complementary meal. Here's a photo of our entrees that were included in the package; a NY sirloin and double cut lamp chops. Both were excellent.
  2. Today's email from Celebrity states we still need to test for the Beyond's 10/26 sailing.
  3. Your recollection is somewhat correct. What the dining experience menu says is you can replace a dish on the dining experience menu from the ala carte menu for 50%off. Any additional dishes is full price.
  4. That was not offered as an option by the restaurant host when booking the restaurant nor by the server when we sat down for our dinner. Both staff members specifically said our dinners were to be ordered from the dining experiencees menu.
  5. I'm on the Seashore right now and the Diamond dinner can only be ordered from the dining experience special menu.
  6. Tonight on the Seashore someone came into the dining room with ratty shorts, tank top, and FLIP FLOPS. Aurea experience Manhattan Dining room.
  7. That is absolutely false. The doors are not airtight they're no different than closet bifold doors.
  8. One of the differences with Michael's Club vs the Retreat Lounge on E class ships is the lack of continuous snacks in a mini buffet setup as in the Retreat Lounges on E-class ships. When we were on the Reflection in March it was an ordeal to get any snacks at 6:45 pre-dinner. It was the wonderful bartender Cranston who personally brought a cheese plate every night for me for my aperitivo.
  9. Only if the window is closed. I'd it's open, the the AC shuts down.
  10. What ship are you on? I'm on the Seashore right now and I would say 50%of the men are wearing shorts for dinner. I had dinner last night at Butcher's Cut, (Excellent meal) and 1/3 of the men there were wearing shorts.
  11. Also right after sail away some ships may close the gym from 5 until 6pm for the spa raffle.
  12. They're a major sponsor of the F1 Racing Circuit and their Logo is plastered along all the F1 race tracks around the world.
  13. The current 9/24 Seashore itinerary as expected has been updated due to the pending hurricane. The change letter is below. Embarcation was a disaster. We are embarking at Terminal C and entrance into the terminal was determined by cabin decks; upper decks went to the forward terminal entrance and lower decks to the aft terminal entrance. We had to ask specifically for Diamond Card/Priority embarkation, otherwise they were going to give us group 16( we checked in at 11:30). Once we went up to the waiting area it was one sea mass of people with no discernable boarding group priority. We had to ask 5 different officials where Priority boarding was. We had to find the supervisor to ask what's going on and why no one knew where and when Priority boarding is. The majority of passengers were non English speaking which meant queuing was an unknown concept. There was no orderly lines, just mobs of people everywhere. When the supervisor called for priority boarding we had to fight our way to the entrance. A terrible and stressful way to start a cruise vacation.
  14. I made the same assumption you did when I boarded the inaugural cruise of the Edge. I'm familiar with Lather products since the Borgata Hotel and casino in Atlantic City, NJ has been using their products since it's opening. I actually contacted Lather via social media and had numerous messages with them. They confirmed they are not supplying Celebrity cruises with products. They thanked me for contacting them and even sent me a package of sample products! The bar soap does indeed say LATHER but it's meant as a product descriptive rather than a product brand name. The toiletries are made specifically for Celebrity and the manufacturer isn't identified.
  15. FYI, the products in the standard cabin ARE NOT Lather brand. I confirmed that with Lather products.
  16. Yes you can. Just make sure you have the appropriate bubble wrap/packing materials to properly protect the bottles in your check luggage. There are special bubble wrap sleeves especially for wine bottles on Amazon.
  17. If you don't prepay they are automatically added to your account, nothing needs to be done.

  19. We are newly Elite+ and since the restart we were on the Apex and Reflection and ordering the flavored coffees wasn't an issue. We asked specifically and was told everything but alcoholic added beverages. What benefit that seems to be in contention is WHERE this coffee benefit applies. Being new Elite+ we specifically asked where the benefits apply and it was explained on both the Apex and Reflection by multiple staff members in different departments that the benefits only apply to Cafe Al Bacio and Segundo Bacio in the buffet. In other words it doesn't apply to any restaurants or main dining rooms at dinnertime. Numerous people here on CC seem to say that it also applies to the mdr at dinner time,so hence the confusion.
  20. All non alcoholic coffee/tea drinks at Cafe Al Bacio are included in the Elite+ benefit.
  21. There's a regular chocolate mocha coffee that's tasty, I don't remember if there's a white chocolate version.
  22. The toiletries will be unbranded in large bottle dispensers attached to the shower wall. The body lotion is freestanding on the lavatory countertop. The bathroom is probably the largest cruiseship bathroom in a non suite cabin.
