Well, of course. If I want a higher quality of food , I expect to pay more for it. I get it, it didn't used to be that way. My choices are accept it, complain about it or move on.

Seeing I eat the same couple of things at breakfast, everyday at home, I'm betting it will be enough to keep us happy too!

I missed that announcement! I thought they had announced that CCL was selling 3 ships, 2 from Costa but did not specify the 3rd. https://www.cruisehive.com/carnival-intends-to-sell-three-cruise-ships-across-brands/90964 -
We did but that was on a non Pinnacle class ship where there was not a separate CO dinning room.

When our cruise was canceled, a month before the sail date, we were not offered anything besides a future cruise credit with a bonus amount, in addition to our cruise fare. Nothing was offered for airfare losses. We kept our air plans and changed our trip to a land vacation and had a wonderful trip. Would that be a possibility for you?

Monteverde is our favorite place in Costa Rica! The birding is fantastic there. We were lucky enough to see a Quetzel on our first visit.

How much interest do you think local media would have in this issue? While it is disappointing for the OP I don't see it generating any outrage or even much interest to the average person. At best maybe a local ombudsman might look into it if the OP wasn't refunded their money for the cabana. -

Probably not possible on a full holiday cruise -
Definitely more of a bar band type of set up than a show. I haven't been on a Pinnacle class ship yet but the other BB Kings set ups that I have visited were packed venues with dancing. I don't think it would work well in a theater type of setting. I do think the comedians should be on the main stage though.

Yes, on ships that do not have a separate Club Orange dining room you will have a separate line at the MDR. On the Pinnacle class ships there is a separate dinning room so all going there will have the same priority.
