  1. LOL I hope the bike helps your healing process!
  2. I love the port area photos. I really enjoy sailing in and out of working/industrial ports versus dedicated cruise ports. The activity is so much more interesting to me.
  3. Looks like earliest arrival doesn't always get the sea walk. We're first in on May 25 but we'll be tendering. Mein Schiff looks like they usually get the sea walk.
  4. If you're not in a Neptune suite or higher, unlimited laundry is a good way to use non-refundable OBC.
  5. That's so funny! Where we live, in the summer, we can tell the tourists by who is not carrying water (or wearing a hat). But we're a rural, outdoorsy place. We never leave home without our water bottles whether we're hiking, boating or out on an ATV.
  6. I would think so. We have the shareholders credit applied and received the offer.
  7. We received this for our cruise in May. It would be about a month early for FP. It's not enough of an incentive for us to do it.
  8. https://jandistours.com/tours-and-sightseeing We have not done this tour but did consider it for our upcoming visit in May. From reading the tour description in looks like about 90 minutes of the 6 hour tour are spent at attractions and the rest is either very brief photo ops or driving. There is no mention of stopping for lunch. It looks like a nice way to see a lot of scenery but not much time to explore outside of the car.
  9. I just wanted to thank you for the trivia questions. Everyday my husband and I play against each other using your posted questions. It's fun and as a bonus, it helped me on Jeopardy recently😁
  10. For a 14 day cruise are the passes sold for 7 days and/or 14?
  11. That's good to know. I'd rather wait a bit to board if it means the crew gets the time they need to do a proper cleaning.
  12. I don't see the up side to this. 2 hours waiting around in the terminal? I'd much rather go for a walk or have brunch somewhere. Can you check in and leave and board later? Or just drop off luggage if you're not staying at a hotel? For me it just seems like a miserable way to spend 2 hours.
  13. Also, with CO you can book the lowest level obstructed balcony cabin and an upgrade to the highest level balcony cabin is included in the price of CO. To me that is the best benefit of CO. To be clear this is true of all categories of cabins for each individual meta category. Inside, ocean view etc
  14. In the past you have said you no longer fly, so would you be looking for a round trip via ship from CA that also stops in Haifa?
  15. There used to deep cleaning on turnaround days when the previous cruise had many cases of norovirus but I haven't been onboard on turn around day since pre- covid so I'm not sure what the current procedures are.
  16. Thanks for the information! The shrimp sounds like something I would like.
  17. Is that really spicy? We will be eating there our our next cruise but my husband has a very low tolerance for heat.
  18. On another recent thread it was suggested to buy a separate coffee card, if you feel you would go over the 15 drinks a day limit, and then use that when ordering coffee.
  19. Or, your local library will do it for less than 1/2 that price. And you will be supporting your library! Win/Win
  20. I just checked and it is now working for me but it is still showing as $15.50 per day for our May 14th Cruise. We do have ours included with HIA so it does not allow me to select the passengers but does show the price per person.
  21. We don't cruise very often but when we do we generally show up about 2 hours before sail away. We are always in town 2 or more days before a cruise and can always find something fun to do before embarkation. Lunch onboard just isn't a huge deal for us.
