  1. That's not what was asked. @FM my meals at a-la-carte venues have worked out to between $40 (Q on the Bliss) and I think $86 (plus the 'free' portion of the crabcake as the receipt only shows the up-charge portion) at Cagney's.
  2. I don't have a booked cruise to look at the exact package, but that was my understanding. When you go to buy it do you have the option to select a specific passenger to buy it for?
  3. Technically, you don't HAVE to pay for seats, but if you want to sit with your companion I suppose you might need to.
  4. It's 2 meals per person, each person buys the upgrade.
  5. You'll need to explain a little more as to what exactly happened. Did the airline overbook the flight and choose people at random to bump, which happened to be you? That's a beef with the airline.
  6. Bolded part is key, and you need to mention it in that way any time you say it was included in the fare. You need to stop misleading people!
  7. There are no prices on the menu because those people whose travel agent doesn't gift them specialty dining credit to visit there every night have to pay a 'cover charge' to eat there, which then covers whatever they order. Teppanyaki is not like Cagney's or some of the others that are a-la-carte...
  8. For your reading pleasure @MONYMONY68 the previous thread that was mentioned -
  9. You could always do a Google search for "Norwegian Cruise Lines specialty dining menu". Several sites come up with examples of the menus...
  10. Don't forget the $50 per port excursion credit for the first guest...
  11. The deadline for booking the cruise and requesting date deviations is 75 days. I imagine if you're before final payment, any changes made after final payment may be subject to the refund terms for cancellation after that date. You don't know what flights they'll put you on until 30-45 days before the cruise, well after any opportunity to cancel the offer.
  12. as is repeated in the many threads on this topic - you can order multiple apps and multiple desserts. Technically, the only limitation is the entree...
  13. NCL should take either. I sailed in March using one of the proctored at-home rapid antigen tests
  14. As long as it meets the requirements as laid out on the Sail Safe page, I can't see why they would deny it. https://www.ncl.com/sail-safe
  15. Anything that's put in front of me on an NCL ship is better than anything I'm making for myself at home. Is that a low bar? Maybe, but I have no complaints about any of the food I've had.
  16. I've only sailed on two, and those two are more similar than different. If I had to pick between the two - the Bliss, the hull art is well done.
  17. Or look at the Latitude Rewards section of the NCL website to see. Oh, and there was a thread here about it, I'm sure you could find it using the search box. https://www.ncl.com/latitudes-rewards-program
  18. I have to wonder if this might be causing a problem? Why the 2-step to do this?
  19. When you connect for the first time you are offered an upgrade. It may not offer the social package, it may just be unlimited internet. If you wait until day 2 you then save that one day that needs to be purchased and still get the credit for the unused (if you never activated it) free plan.
  20. Heck no! I'm not sure what this has to do with it, the 2-prong camera chargers can plug into the 3-prong outlets without a problem. It's going the OTHER way that's the issue (hence the 2 prongs on the outlet side and 3 holes on the device side). The ship has US 3-prong outlets anyway so that hazard of an adapter is not needed.
  21. and I presume this was with NCL's Premium Air service, right? This NEEDS to be specified as the type of arrangement you got is not possible with the free-at-sea perk.
  22. Several months ago people were reporting here that e-mail is the only contact for the CruiseNext department, the phone number was being shut down...
  23. You didn't answer the question as to which way the flights were being booked but I'm going to assume it's the BOGO. With the BOGO flights you have ZERO control, except for the date of the flights. There are MANY threads on this forum discussing the perk airfare and what can/can't be done. The first chance you get to choose anything is going to be once the flights are ticketed. You won't even get to pick your airline and may be booked on two different airlines (I was when I used the offer in 2019 - Delta outbound, American inbound).
  24. Are you booking using the Free-at-sea BOGO offer or NCL's Premium Air? BOGO - you can upgrade at your cost once the flight is ticketed, IF the airline allows it with the fare that was negotiated. Deviations to arrive or depart up to 2 days before and after the cruise are allowed. Here is the T&C's that cover the BOGO - https://www.ncl.com/termsandconditions/promotions Premium Air - the wording appears ambiguous but it MAY be allowed. right from this page - https://www.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/premium-air The types of customized flight itinerary requests handled by the Premium Air Service Desk are date deviations, nonstop service, specific airline, specific flights or specific departure time, stopovers, upgrades to business or first class and gateways not offered in the Air Sea program.
