  1. Sorry did not see your post before posting mine.
  2. Once, one time. If you go a second night, there is a charge, but nominal.
  3. Think I agree with most of what you said. There is little doubt in my mind that the big new ships will do the owned ports and the ones that fit with those.
  4. The pier building process has started, no idea when it will be finished. In all the years we have gone there, I have NEVER seen two ships at the same time.
  5. Johnny Rockets….don’t get me going on that. I was with you till that….
  6. You cannot place multiple orders
  7. An interesting dilemma. I would wager there is a LONG way between here and there. I do think it is really complicated, and that to me is a large factor why we do not see anything like RCCL and Celebrity. All that said, there is most certainly things they could do, without defiling the other lines loyalty. Will they? Well, they certainly will have an opportunity soon.

  9. Not sure I was ever really enthralled with them. But that is just me.
  10. Lot of clamping down on cruise stops in Europe, especially Venice.
  11. and then talk about the outrageous fares they charge to get this wonderful experience.
  12. There is a message there
  13. I think you are reading too much into it. It is as it always has been. They follow the money (like they all do). The economics of a bigger ship are real, significant and sitting in front of them. They simply are doing what the market wants.
  14. Enjoy, sounds like a great deal.
  15. There are still plenty of ships for the smaller ships. The mega’s are the destination, not the ports. There a re plenty of ports for them to sail from and plent for the smaller ships. It is not a one size fits all.
  16. So who is (making smaller ships? Certainly not Royal, in fact, the largest monstrosity of the seas is sailing at 132%. Must be putting them in all that free space.
  17. Once you debark, enter terminal (either with bags or collect them) you go thru customs. Can be extremely quick and a pass thru (getting a “welcome home” comment) or a quick check.
  18. Options are a good thing.
