  1. ooops, missed that. Yea my guess they booked before the Service charge increase
  2. $25 would be Haven are you both in the Haven
  3. We have Cruised Many times in the Haven. We have cruised during Spring Break as well as Off peek seasons where minimal kids. Do not worry. You sound like you are a responsible parent! Let your kids have fun! They pay the same fare as an adult so they are equally entitled to the same amenities. I Grew up cruising with my parents from the age of 10, and love seeing well behaved children having a blast!
  4. So, WhenI won both bids it was during the restart. Now I will not cruise outside the Haven anymore. I like the bidding process but also now, will not take the chance of not winning.
  5. Plastic Cups by the pool are 12, I remember this becasue i poured a beer into the cup one day and filled it up
  6. I for one like the bidding process. I have one 2 Haven Bids from a Balcony and saved alot of money. Now Wife and I simply book the Haven. We travel during off peak seasons but even now Havens are selling out leaving less oppertunity to win a bid.
  7. Ours did the Same, the wife and I both Drink Michelob Ultra and when we met our butler he said no problem and he would stock our fridge for us. Now I know that is not technically allowed but some butlers will do this for you.
  8. Completely Agree. We are sailing in the 2 Bedroom Haven Suite on the Escape in January with another couple we have cruised with before and they are our neighbors. We were able to get the Haven for about the same price as 2 balcony Staterooms.
  9. I have stayed in both, and as long as price is not the deciding factor I would go for the aft! The balcony and 2nd bathroom is the best parts of this cabin. Don’t get me wrong also loved the forward facing as well but the balcony is very small!
  10. We booked escape over epic for this January, but honestly epic is currently thousands less then the escape and almost had us switch. Be have done breakaway and breakaway+ ships before and came close to switching again only because the 2 bedroom haven was thousands less on the epic
  11. If you get the appointment, bring all documentation needed to get the passport along with the passport picture. Also the price is definitely at least a few hundred more. But might be able to save it
  12. A new passport, I was hired by a cruise line that wanted me to start work in 4 days. I brought flight arrangements as well as the hiring offer to NY passport office I believe on Fulton Ave and had my passport within a few hours
  13. You absolutely can same day! I went to the New York office and had my passport within 2 hours
  14. Exactly it is your option...as for me, Wife and I only Cruise NCL in the Haven now, Next one is in January on the Escape, 2 Bedroom Haven suite. We are giving MSC Yacht club a try next in September as well
  15. We were on the Joy in April, and we had lunch there on Embarkation day mainly because it was free for Haven Guests. I will say the food was good but the Milkshakes were fantastic ( Not included with free lunch) We are going on the escape in January and we will most likely eat there again embarkation day so we don't have to fight the rush at the Haven or buffet or dining rooms.
  16. I have been watching the escape sailing the past few weeks as we are going on the Escape January 6th. We are booked in a HAven 2 bedroom and was hoping the Owners suite with large balcony would come open but pretty sure its sold out. Congrats on the upgrade
  17. Walk out to the Street and simply grab a cab. Tell them you want to go to Paradise beach it is about 10 minutes from the pier. Also you may want to book in advance as it does fill up. Are you looking for the all inclusive deal or just admission? Also you can rent a Day bed for $50 per day which i thought was well worth it.
  18. We sailed on the Joy in the Haven in April. Yes is the Bar Small sure, but there is also seating in the lounge. We had no issues with the concierge. I promise you will love it.
  19. Yes it will be under soda, all it is is sprite and some grenadine.
  20. We got to paradise beach every time we visit Cozumel! Good price, food is fresh and all you can eat. Lots of water toys, and the pool is great! Also a quick taxi ride. It’s a less party place then a few others, so good for kids
  21. So we are sailing on the Seascape next year and was curious about reserving a cabana at the pool? Also does anyone know how much they cost per day?
  22. So you can book these right on your NCL account. At 25 days out I believe Haven guest can then book your shows that require a reservation, everyone else mainly can book at 21 days out.
  23. I forgot to mention these dates are for 2024. I booked over a year out. The inside YC cabins go very fast as there are not that many of them.
  24. Seascape out of Port Canaveral, inside YC with the 10% discount came to $3200. NCL joy in October balcony stateroom came to $3104. Both 7 day cruises, both with 4 ports of call. Both include drink packages.
