  1. trying to save fuel to pay down the debt so the don't cruise that far from homeport
  2. whenever CCL has had ships there in the past they couldn't fill ships so the prices were pretty low.
  3. Yeah we have had 2 Havana rooms that were cheap. Now that the prices have crept up we booked an inside Havana room on Mardi Gras.
  4. You are going to love it. The Havana area is awesome on the Vista class ships.
  5. because of the cost to get there might have something to do with it. Just guessing
  6. Try https://www.resortpass.com/hotel-day-passes/Miami-14
  7. You still keep your booking number though.๐Ÿ˜€
  8. I just did this last week. Changed from Jubilee to Mardi Gras one week later. Cost was $50 pp to change. Also if the cruise you switch to is more money you need to pay the new price. Just an FYI: there was just travel update for the Bahamas as well. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/traveladvisories/traveladvisories/the-bahamas-travel-advisory.html
  9. Same here. The Embassy Suites has gone downhill. Now stay at Hyatt House or Place.
  10. I'm going on the Icon as soon as I hit the lottery which means never. lol way overpriced!
  11. Is that the cruise you went on reluctantly because you were sailing with friends and they chose the Royal ship?
  12. On closed loop cruises to Panama are passports required?
  13. beautiful class of ship. The only bad part is center stage. Booking Mardi Gras as soon as I hear from PVP.
  14. Yes they canโ€™t offer that perk anymore since they got rid of a lot of the cabin attendants.
  15. They have it, it's just hard to track down sometimes. We had the best luck at 820 Biscayne right across from the pizza. They didn't have it every day but if we went and they didn't have it they would usually go and get a case. It was only like a 5 minute wait as they didn't have to go far.
  16. Is there a cutoff point of 15 drinks a day like on Carnival? Just curious as I would never come close.
  17. we had a group of 12 on the Oasis a few years back and they pushed a couple tables together to make 1. We had anytime dining and the Maitre'd told us as long as we got to the dining room by a specific time he'd hold the table for us every day. One day it was available but we were only moved back 2 rows of tables for that one day. The Maitre'd was awesome. He came over to our table 2 of the nights and poured us all a glass of champagne.
  18. all you can do is try. I must say that MSC is a stickler for details. Hopefully they prove me wrong and you get it.
  19. had a guitar player there when we went in October who played and sung country music.
  20. we did that and got moved to a 4 top as shmoo said. It turned out great.
  21. they also have decaf diet pepsi that is very hard to find. Even though I'm not supposed to have caffeine I sneak in a dt Mt Dew once in awhile.
