  1. Two important things about FBC or a TA. If you book through them they must make any changes. Doesn't matter whether a local TA, Chase or FBC. Hope you have noticed there are hundreds of changes in flights daily. Your flight is over 2 months away and is like to change again. Agents are mostly dealing with travelers that are flying within a couple days or are enroute. FWIW we are now at 8 changes for our Florida flights in 2023. We do not even bother trying to look at the details.
  2. Yes you could stay in your cabin for the entire cruise having the attendant leave towels outside and meals delivered. Most would call that similar to quarantine. What ever you choose.
  3. You will likely never know who is travelling in a suite except for boarding when passengers are sorted by cabin class, handicapped and Captain's Club status. That said you seem to be very concerned about all sorts of things so who knows.
  4. 316 554 5961 or 844 418 6824 if you call using WiFi.
  5. To the OP - Welcome to Cruise Critic. You can call or upgrade on board. You might want to try the classic package for a day and see if it works for you. Then upgrade if you like.
  6. Agree. We travel with a Zenith. No access except they have always politely given us a peek. Loyalty is no longer provided the same rewards. Last cruise there were 7 Zeniths. 4 in Suites. Really?
  7. Many seats will open either for the early seating or select dining before you sail. As said contract the Maitre d' immediately on boarding. It should not be a problem to change.
  8. They are dreadful for anyone with arthritis or hand issues.
  9. Or do a search about your question to find the over 50 times the same question was asked and answered. I also welcome you to cruise critic. If you do an advanced search you will find tens of THOUSANDS of questions AND answers.
  10. I use my TA. She calls when things open. Plus I end up with lots of OBCR
  11. Yes. Usually an airboat and a canal ride or a simple transfer. If you just want a transfer an Uber is probably easiest as Celebrity uses busses and you need to wait till they fill.
  12. Definitely cozy as they would share what is in effect a hide-a-bed couch. OK barely for sleeping IMO. With it open there is pretty much no floor space. Suitcases can go under the main bed and use for storage, but very tight. When we took our teenagers we booked 2 cabin and put then in an inside cabin directly across the hall.
  13. It is simply a rule put in place some 15 years ago to track large cash deposits and withdrawals. It was designed to reduce money laundering and drug transactions. Getting a CTR from a casino is not a big deal, but probably best to cash up a bit more often.
  14. Celebrity promises to assist you to the best of their ability to get you to your cruise ship. The rules have changed since Covid. X does not guarantee you will get to your Cruise. If the airlines cancel a flight onward travel MIGHT be covered if the airlines fault. If weather related you are likely out of luck. Celebrity does not operate airplanes and cannot control airline schedules, cancellations or delays. The benefits of scheduling with Celebrity Air are; you don't pay for air till final cruise payment, if you miss your cruise they will try to get you to the ship and if that is not reasonably possible refund your cruise payment.
  15. If your deposit is refundable and you cancel you get your $$ refunded. Any trip insurance you purchased is subject to the policy terms. Your choosing to cancel will likely mean any premium you paid is forfeited.
  16. I can assure you that a charter will not be a booze cruise. Celebrity will and has removed rowdy and rude individuals at the next port and left them at the pier. On a Caribbean music cruise a few years ago they returned to Florida minus almost 200 passengers. Being on a charter where about 1/2 or more are part of a group was strange - the good was some of the group will welcome you and want to socialize a bit. The notvso good is the groups can take over various venues on board.
  17. You are getting people giving US rules. The rules in the UK are very different. Hopefully someone IN THE UK can give the correct answer.
  18. What is strangely worded (to me) is that you do not count the day you board. Same rule for testing for Canada - this one only relates to boarding.
