We were just on the Radiance and went to Samba. I agree with @GJustice it was a lot of meat. My husband and I shared and asked for 1 portion. The fried pineapple at the end was really good. Great service, just be prepared for lots of meats.
We had the same issue when we were on the Radiance last month. The only bar that was open was the pool bar and there were some folks that had paid for the drink package and they were complaining a lot.
It can be really windy at Coco-Cay. We have been there in October, November, December, February and March. It has rained on us in December & February. Also the main pool called the Oasis Lagoon isn’t heated.
We still always have a great time and look forward to returning.
We were just on Radiance in a JS. We never opened our sofa bed, but it was really old and creepy when you sat on it. The room was fine for the 2 of us, but 4 would be too many IMO.
You will enjoy the Ovation! We were on her last year for 4 weeks and enjoyed it a lot. I wouldn’t suggest a balcony on deck 13, but 10, 11 or 12 are all fine. We have cruised on Quantum, Anthem, Ovation and the Odyssey on decks 10, 11, 12 & 13.
Yes, they do. We were on B2B2B and one of the weeks we forgot to turn in our towels the night before but we did at 7AM the morning that others were leaving, we were charged even though we were still on the ship. They couldn’t help us and wanted us to call guest relations.
Just got off the Radiance and we were invited to a backstage meet and greet with performers in the Theater. We didn’t go, but we were invited each week.
Also, make sure to enjoy the free Johnny Rockets breakfast. Symphony has a lot of great food options. We were on in December and only went to MDR once. Enjoy your cruise!
It depends on which ship you are going on. The Oasis class and Quantum class(for a show in the 270) are the ones that you need a reservation for.
Also, Royal’s muster station is awesome. You just check in to your appropriate muster station and off you go, super easy.
