We have the Premier package on our next cruise and when I look at Dine My Way on the app I’m seeing a banner that reflects we have a dining credit. If I make a reservation it shows the charge but then the credit is applied so there is a zero balance.

You can send it in now. I sent mine in already for 2 cruises in November and the credit was posted for both the day I submitted my requests.

I think it will depend on when you cruise. I cruised on the Royal in November and in January/February. The pool was too cold for me until we got down to Mexico. Once we were in warmer weather I thought it was fine but DH thought it was still too cold. So depends on what your definition of “cold” is and also whether you are cruising in the winter or a warmer time of year.

It looks like Princess has caught on that some of us really like these “Fab 4” cabins. In my past experience these cabins have been cheaper than booking a Club Class mid-ship cabin. Today I priced a cruise for early 2025 on the Majestic and the forward facing CC cabins were more expensive than the CC mid-ship cabins. It was a good run while it lasted and I’ll still book the forward facing cabins but I did like it when they were cheaper.

I’ve stayed in L107 two times in the last year and it is only a 2 person cabin. The couch didn’t make into a bed. If you have 3 people in your room I wouldn’t bid on these 4 cabins as my understanding is none of them have convertible couch to bed.

I prefer to email it because you get an automated response that they have received your correspondence. I never got confirmation from Princess when I faxed the documents years ago.

Sure hope you get it! I think premium economy would be difficult to do for such a long flight but Business class (especially if they have lay flight seats) would be ideal. Enjoy your cruise! DH and I hope to do Australia someday soon.

We travel with a MacBook Pro, iPad and 2 iPhones. We leave the laptop and iPad out in the cabin and have never had any problems with them disappearing. I don’t think your husband has anything to worry about. We don’t leave our iPhones out as we have these with us most of the time. Occasionally I may forget mine and leave it out in the cabin and it’s always there when I return.

If you’ve booked direct with Princess or use a PVP then you receive an updated confirmation notice from Princess. If you’ve booked with a TA then the confirmation notice is sent to them and it’s up to them to send it to you, which they may or may not do.

You can submit your request for shareholder OBC now….it’s not too late.

I just sent an email for 2 cruises at 2:15 pm and both cruises had the OBC applied at 2:24 pm so it took only 9 minutes. I received a confirmation notice for each cruise. This is for 2 cruises in November. Now that’s great service IMHO!!!

For all you first time Princess cruisers who will never get back on a Princess ship…..never say never. I too had the worst experience on my first Princess cruise back in 1995. The ship’s a/c was broken and people getting off the cruise before us told us how hot and humid it was on the ship, so obviously Princess knew there was a problem. On our cruise we were sailing around a hurricane so the rough seas and the lack of a/c made for a very miserable sailing. I think they offered us $100 to take another cruise and my response was “I’m never going on another Princess cruise”. Well I did get back on another ship 20 years later because I wanted to sail with my parents and this was their cruise line. My DH and I now have 14 cruises on Princess and will be Elite after our next cruise in November. All cruises since the first one have been excellent and I’m glad I gave Princess another chance, even though it took 20 years to get me back on another ship.

Can you get free laundry tokens if you are Elite? I’ve got one more cruise to go but I’m not sure I’ll ever use the free laundry benefit as I really prefer to do my own. For me if would be great if they offered free laundry tokens instead. Or maybe I’ll just start taking clothes that can take hot water/hot dryer that’s used by Princess with the free perk.

I did this excursion in 2021 and loved it but I don’t have mobility issues. I don’t remember anyone onboard who had any issues and no one with a walker. If I did have trouble walking I wouldn’t do this excursion.

Oh boy, 6 glasses of champagne. Hope that’s per person!!!

Look forward to reading about your experience on MSC. We normally sail on Princess but just booked our first MSC cruise this week. Our MSC sailing will be in February.

I tip $1 per drink that is delivered to the room. If we both order a drink then we tip $2. Normally I’m just ordering a latte in the morning so it’s $1. But as others have said it’s not required or expected.

So for those of you who would remove a person’s items from a chair what do you do with the items? Put them on another chair, on the ground, or something else? For the person who said after 30 minutes it’s fair game, I respectfully disagree. When I’m in the pool I’m in for 60 to 90 minutes. I’d like to hope that my stuff will still be there after I get out of the pool. I don’t go in the main pools though. I will be in the Retreat pool or aft pool and I do keep an eye on my things while in the pool. I’ve never had a problem with someone touching my belongings but then again I don’t walk away from the pool area and leave my stuff where I can’t see it.

It’s actually easy to do on a phone or tablet. Just hit return twice after you insert each photo into your post. Attached are 3 photos from our most recent cruise. I just inserted each photo into the post and after each one hit the return key twice to put in the extra space. This was done on an iPad.

No package deals on Princess. You pay for each item individually and the per item prices are listed on the photo I posted. It’s much cheaper if you do your laundry yourself in the self-service laundromat.
