  1. I substituted a second filet for the lobster tail without any problem.
  2. That's true as long as the menu's in both DR's remain identical. Something tells me that in a short time they won't be and we'll be back to the same old, same old routine. In the mean time we'll just choose the DR with the best service.
  3. I'm just curious if anyone knows but when sailing with either package and since the gratuities are already included, if a person only drinks 10 drinks a day, who gets to keep the gratuities for the unordered 5 drinks? Princess or the bartender pool?
  4. It doesn't sound like you got to see the mega cake setup on the last days lunch buffet? It consists of many different types of decorated cakes. People line up for a sample of each and the line is typically very long if you get there late. Maybe they discontinued it?
  5. The early dining times have never been a problem for reservations.
  6. We never had the mob experience at the buffet in all our Enchanted trips but you have to time it around the "typical" eating times. Show up after 8 AM for breakfast and you'll hit the big crowd on a port day. Same thing for lunch, get there at 1 to 1:30 PM and everyone returning from tours is ahead of you. It just takes a little planning.
  7. Looks like there's hope after all.😎
  8. Sounds like Goldilocks And The 3 Bears. 😄
  9. We always got 4 bottles (16.9 oz.) at a time to keep in the cabin fridge. I thought they charged extra for the larger 500ml bottles?
  10. We were on the Ruby in Nov and didn't have any complaints about the food other than the buffet selections being rather limited compared to any Royal class ships. The DR was pretty good, similar to Princess quality on any of their ships.
  11. I'm also patiently waiting for any news about the Park 19 opening, especially if there's any extra charges for the RollGlider.
  12. That's one of the reasons why we stopped going to that event. There's nothing special that you can't order in the DR.
  13. On the ship you can run across it on occasion but we always eat early at the buffet when the food is first presented and not picked over. On land you can only hope they conform to some health standards, which I seriously doubt especially in the Caribbean. I'll take my chance with ship food any day.
  14. Do you really believe that any of the restaurants in ports are much cleaner than the ships facilities? At least I know that on the ship they conform to some standards. In any port, who knows?
  15. Can anyone tell me if the IC on the Sun is serving muesli bars?
  16. For my wife & I, it's perfectly fine food. We aren't fussy eaters.
  17. Not having a "build it yourself" omelet in the DR would really surprise me as well. We don't normally eat in the DR for breakfast as it just takes to long.
  18. That's quite strange since they've had built you own omelets on the Enchanted for years now. It was on the end of the line closest to the Wake View Bar.
  19. I'm about a senior as they come on a cruise ship and still without taking extreme precautions, have never caught it. If the people that have serious health conditions maybe they should rethink cruising in general where it's next to impossible to separate yourself from the crowds.
  20. We've given up on anything close to formal clothing & cruise to relax. Thankfully, Princess no longer requires people to conform to dressing up on formal nights.
  21. I'm convinced that Covid is here to stay and I'm not going to worry about catching it. Live your life & deal with it if you do get it.
  22. We've often used that escape route. 😉
  23. You've got to eat the free meals first.😉 We never seem to miss the ships lunch even on port days. Why spend money on land when there's perfectly good food on the ship when you get back.
