  1. Does the Epic have a waterfront like some of the other ships do? With seating and you can get drinks and such?
  2. I was able to actually check in before midnight at exactly 21 days.. On the app.. on PC it wouldnt let you until midnight.. Think I checked in around11:30 pm or so.. I'm east coast so really easy to keep track of the time :D.. I know others did also.. But unless you really want 1 of the earlier boarding times, I wouldnt sweat it. I'd focus on entertainment booking if there is a show you want to see though.. EDIT: I lied.. it was closer to 9:30 - 10:00 pm that people were checking in..
  3. From https://www.ncl.com/specialty-dining-package/faq under terms and conditions at the bottom of the list . An SDP meal in a la carte restaurants includes 1 appetizer, 1 soup or salad, 1 main course and 1 dessert (does not apply to cover charge restaurants or Food Republic, Pincho Tapas Bar and Sushi, where a meal includes any 4 menu items). No sharing or to go orders permitted. SDP does not include beverages and additional and/or premium menu items will incur charges. A 20% gratuity and specialty service charge will be added to the package price.
  4. I cannot remember how big the vibe is on the Bliss, but if small, may be sold out.. We booked an escape feb 2025 cruise in feb of this year and bought them right after we made the reservation.
  5. Cant be that, we just booked Cagneys for 2 days of our cruise..
  6. $12.50 USDper person per day ITEM #: UBPTAS Enjoy endless fountain soda throughout your cruise. Includes Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Ginger Ale, Tonic Water, Fanta and Soda Water. Soda packages available for adults and children 3 years old and up. A 20% gratuity and beverage service charge will be added at checkout. Not available for sailings of 2 days or less.
  7. Ahh I see that now. Bummer if whoever was on the other end (if a TA or PCC) was just adding something but took something off.. Guess this is why I am horribly anal about almost weekly checking my reservation online.
  8. Not saying something DIDNT happen, but unless changes were made at a late date, something was added / put in a cart and not paid for, or someone got hold of your reservation somehow, I dont see how this would have happened.. If you have a fully paid confirmation, and you dont see any refunds on your cards, there is something else going on here.
  9. Dunno where you live, but prices of EVERYTHING have gone up crazy since 'rona made an appearance.. Well, everything except my wages... They sure havent gone up. And I'll let others take the cheapest route.. I'll pay more to avoid a good number of them. Because in my experience normally folks that look for the cheapest also complain about the silliest things that they arent getting because they went cheap lol.. So I'll let them go find the cheapest prices and go there.
  10. You pretty much did... Maybe not EXACTLY but very much a "dont worry about it, no problems" and it appears according to at least one person, that it can be an issue. So, ok. I still say if you make a reservation and/or appointment for anything the courteous thing to do it cancel it.
  11. Yea, I dont know why folks are saying just to ignore cancelling. Maybe they were thinking it was just MDR or something, but either way if you arent going to use it, it should be cancelled.
  12. Or decorate INSIDE your room where you can enjoy them when you are taking a break or in the AM or PM when just chilling..
  13. I've cancelled and changed a number of times via chat.
  14. Isnt there a California law going into effect that basically will make cruises like airfare? Total price has to be listed? I always just goto the payment screen, which is a PITA to see the total, total.. Then I'll get an email and phone call wanting me to finish booking.. Even though I'm normally just checking prices to see if the total fare has gone down for my already paid for cruise lol..
  15. For US based cruises, no. They are already basically "giving away" in their eyes the basic package.. You want the "good stuff" you'll pay the price..Which is actually still cheaper that RC's basic beverage package price.. at least IMO..
  16. I have a feeling the last minute thing also may depend on where sailing from.. If there is a cruise leaving tomorrow, how would you book it? I dont think you can do it on the website because you have to start or do your check in online before a certain time.? I really thought I saw something about 3 days prior also.. But no freaking clue for sure.
  17. What ship? If like the Escape or something that has a small vibe and going around a popular time, may be sold out. Not sure when you are sailing but 233 days puts you around Jan 1st (from when you posted, not my posts date).
  18. Which means it's probably been sold out.
  19. Must've been a cache issue or just bad timing, but I have the option now..
  20. not sure what I'm missing.. but not seeing that..
  21. same.. cancelled and re booked a few items...
  22. One thing you'll find about NCL vs Royal is the prices are what they are for internet, beverages etc etc.. Dont have to wait for deals or watch for sales, or wonder how much they will decide to charge.. 🙂 Have a cruise planned for a friends 50th next year on royal and drives me batty that you have to try to guess when the best prices for drinks packages are.
  23. Best part IMO is I do it in just a calm relaxed way lol.. Don't yell at them, dont get in their face... That really makes them mad.. I dunno, guess my entertainment has changed over the years.
