The bathroom pictured above was booked by a certain unnamed TA who booked me into a port hole and during covid I got moved. I actually booked a cheaper port hole cabin. My section was closed during covid. Breeze right after reopen. As I remember it was super cheap. The cabin isnt larger than other OV and just has a longer hall for the 2nd door to the 2nd bath and a extra closet to fill the hallway. It's not a larger cabin for 4, its smaller. Interesting. And thanks to that TA as it was a interesting cabin. It is a trade off less space in the cabin for having a 2nd bath. Thanks

I think what they are saying is on rcl connecting are a different category, so might cost more. So book next to each other, or as you asked a balcony with inside across. For instance there are a LOT of connecting promenade cabins on freedom and whatever class so connecting costs less .. but balcony connecting category in short supply so often costs more. So if it costs more book the next to each other instead if it's less. Price it out. There is no always answer, though connecting promenade is mostly cheaper than not connecting. I've had a few of these on liberty just for the less price. Depends on ship and type of cabin. I have a bunch of pictures of the 2nd bath for deluxe ov on carnival being referred to as a 2nd shower. Calling this 2 baths with 2 showers idk.

I saw end of last week oil broke out. I watched to confirm and at open added more DVN. A oil with a 6% dividend. Yesterday Charles Payne guest mentioned oil is at lowest inventories in 10 years. I sat up and said buying more oil at open. The inventory level is what made me say buy NOW, has to kick in. I'll hold until probably next January. Oil always does well in the winter for me. CNBC guest says oil will stay above 80 for the rest of the year. Saudi confirmed cuts for the rest of the year. Oil is my heaviest position, because of dividends. The low inventory imo is the most important indication to watch. Diesel is shorter supply especially. I was thinking it will hurt ccl especially as they do not hedge, but not helpful to rcl. Higher rates for longer fed mantra is still not fully priced in either imo.

And on carnival the OP means the 2nd bath with a bathtub you can take a shower in the bath tub. There are not 2 showers as such.

I've had a tablemate show up in shorts. I cant imagine going to ask someone to remove him. Wouldnt make for a good table the rest of the cruise. He did wear nice shorts. He said no lobster, to him not a dress up night. Good luck demanding someone be removed who is dressed clean and neat, but in shorts.

Rcl finally broke below its trading channel. CNBC is talking about when travel ends, and talking down carnival. Rcl kinda will follow ccl. 94ish right now. I had been looking for a entry in the 90 to 93 range .. finally close. And I've watched since earnings. Chart broke this morning. The traders trading this dont know rcl from a hole in the head, they just watch the charts. This is a big break lower chart wise. We will see where it is closer to earnings as I will be back in before earnings. New range going to be established. Not sure what jim cramer meant about no new ships after these .. as regarding ccl earnings. I'm still out but looking now to re enter. .. just calling it so later someone doesnt say easy to call later. I've called all my rcl trades.

There is no way they can do what you want nor will they. They do not want to encourage people removing tips. This will never happen. If you choose to stand in line and remove tips sometimes they will ask why. Was the service not good. Be aware your cabin steward and others will know you removed tips. Though some will argue, they do seem to know. I know it's a lot for a family. So follow your conscious. ..I would not post it in public if you do remove them (imo this is better kept to yourself) tbh as it just will start arguments. I'm solo so easy for me. I own 100 shares of stock so that's most of the tip right there. Add in some obc from my TA and I put aside enough obc to cover most of my auto tip and just tip in cash for the extras. .. but I'm not a family. So it's not fair for me to judge .. doesnt really come out of my pocket. Many leave tips in place and tip extra for extra service.

Its said this as long as I've been cruising ..20 years? And as ourusualbeach says ever been enforced, no matter what the small print says. If you didnt worry in the past about the wording, dont worry now. It will be all over the place if it changes.

I think you are confused. Wipe out cafe, still has the same name, but has the FRESH mexican .. as stated earlier. Its mexican and it was mexican last year on allure. Maybe they like the name, but it no longer has the burgers and fries and whatever. I was on allure b2b last dec so I'm very sure .. just the name remains. Otherwise it serves the FRESH mexican menu. Not the snacks from pre covid days. Impossible you were on allure within the last year and did not have the mexican food there. And it's not on a smaller ship to try. Now you all have me missing guys burgers on carnival. So good. WJ just isnt the same or particularly good burgers. .. free yes.

Really? Good to hear. I was reading ncl is discontinuing single use water bottles and using paper bottles. I dont think I'd like a paper bottle but have not seen them. I always thought it kinda dumb to worry about straws and ignore plastic water and soda bottles.

For whatever reasons, oasis ships with all their bells and whistles seem to be what people want to book. Me too for that matter. Luck for rcl the market wants what they offer the most. If you are just as happy with celebrity book it.

I dont think it's coming. Carnival tried some rates with pre paid tips .. discontinued. Celebrity is removing tips from included. They want to advertise as low as possible. Adding in tips, when most newbies dont even know about them, doesnt seem to be the direction I'm seeing.

I'm not sure you can remove them once onboard if they were prepaid. ? Are you sure.

I take it you dont like uber? I've done uber maybe 6 times in Galveston but I see others advertising all the time. Saltwater moms comes to mind. You dont say which airport. Hobby is twice as close as IAH so of course prices will reflect which airport. Galveston limo. Etc. Many choices.

Or in the Mdr for lunch and now dinner. I did radiance and they had a american night with a burger. I tried it and thought it was pretty good for royal. Better than buffet. I tried the one for lunch Mdr but the bun wasnt that good, kinda soggy. Carnival wins this.

Again as i posted above every thread I've read says air tags are of limited use once the ship is out in the ocean and the signal is bouncing off a satellite. Also I just tried to search since now someone else suggests them onboard. .. There are a couple of comments I found here, but trying to search for threads on cc to me is difficult. One poster explains someone with a apple with wifi on has to pass near the tag for it to update. Ignore the posts about airports .. there are 2 here above why it doesn't work well on the cruise.

Yes the solarium had a egg station where they cooked eggs and omelettes.

My 25th cruise was so special. I got invited to a special officers party. And wow the food. I'm talking such special I've never seen as good before. It was wonderful. Nothing I've ever seen before or since on carnival. And pictures at the party. I agree it was a special treat. I have a lap blanket next to me on the sofa from that cruise and all the obc. I bought a fleece jacket too with wolves and bears. I still get compliments on it. It was my cruise on miracle to alaska. I still say that has been my best ever cruise and yes it was on carnival. When people post princess is the way to go .. I loved carnival to alaska. Honestly my very favorite cruise. If rcl didnt give me 25% off my solo rate after the $250 balcony discount, I'd be doing more on carnival, but my wallet says do the bargain rates as long as they last. Nothing lasts forever.

So I'm turning diamond and for sure my rates are not reduced in any way from what I see on other cruise web sites. Sorry but I don't believe this.

I only had that fish once. I thought it tasted very strong fishy. Now I see it on so many other menus but afraid to order again. Did you really think it was a mild fish say compared to cod or perch? I like clam chowder if it's the white kind, not the red. I hope the meals are good when I'm on dream for 2 weeks.
