Doesnt have to be a minor to not allow charges. I always block charges so my sister cant charge without asking me. I put in my card, but not one for her. Everything in the cabin is charged to me.

Not what you asked john, but each has different perks. On carnival platinum gets you priority debark. I enjoy this. Breeze we didnt dock until 10 am because we had to rescue some guys and their dog. I'd hate to be at the end of the line. I was in the theater and we sat in line to get off. Never been a perk on royal. Small thing but solo can book gty. On royal the gty option, requires solo to book a fake 2nd pax to get the rate then now they are cracking down on these and not giving the extra solo point if you booked 2. Carnival is so much more straightforward. Platinum gives you 2 days early to check in for arrival times. 16 days instead of 14. Enjoy whatever the line offers, and dont worry what someone else offers if you want the cruise. When you hit 25 cruises on carnival there is a obc reward. You will probably hit this while you are platinum. 25% of what you paid as obc. Just to name a few perks I've enjoyed with carnival. I've always gone back and forth. I didnt hit diamond on carnival without enjoying a few of their extras. Just not the same. I lean one way or the other depending on the current booking market. I wish their was a way to get mardi gras or jubilee for less but so far there isnt. Not a perk, but I love the lobster rolls carnival has, so reasonable. I wish dream had the seafood area, but alas and alack, it had indian food there last time I was on. .. and let's not forget better burgers and white pizza. And the pizza is hand made. I dont mind waiting a bit longer for better crust. Rcl pizza imo is so bad, I just eat the toppings. Dont like their prepared crust already sauced.

You have rcl and carnival mixed up. Carnival has no perks for loyalty discounts on price. The answer is nope. Doesnt affect the price you pay at all.

Coco cay is more like a amusement park to me. Labadee is more a original beach setting.

Is this a casino offer. I'd call the casino if I wanted to upgrade. I sure wish I could see these offers. What's the code. Lol grab it. I have not read of carnival overselling. Rcl did it a few times but they send out a offer that is usually tempting enough people will take it to change to another date. I say pick me, pick me. I want a free cruise. I think you shouldnt worry that booking last minute they would be overselling cabins on purpose. Sure some do cancel and maybe the formula was wrong but seems to be fixed.

Mardi gras and her sisters also no longer have the 1As or PT port hole category. Carnival got rid of the less expensive booking options for pax.

I've read that this tech doesnt really work on the ship. Something about it has to connect to blue tooth. I'm not that tech, but I dont think onboard those work well. There is a delay or some such. I hope this or something gets better and better. It's a big worry for me too.

I dont remember the exact restart date, but I believe close to august 2021? Some terminals have you sit with others and call by loyalty like Galveston. Too many maybe now to sit by loyalty level? But the priority boarding isnt what it was before covid. But usually for me they called D+ to board after suites, key, hc, pinns.

I see you say you are only sailing wonder for a while. Just curious why you only book wonder and then say how expensive. I booked 3 adventure because it goes to more interesting ports. Prices probably arent a lot better, but I try and break things up. Eastern and southern booked I cant wait to see new ports. And added the little 6 day over xmas 2024. Wish I had booked sooner, but took me until recently to get myself moving after my mom died. I sure missed some awesome prices had I booked back when she passed. I've cruised with similar and almost got separated once. It is a worry. I'd told my sister to ask someone to take her to customer service. We were coming out of the theater one night and waiting for the elevator and one came the wrong direction so I wasnt watching real close, and looking just in time To see my sister stepping into a full elevator. I just barely had time to reach out and grab her to pull her back out of the elevator. She always kept her next dose of medication with her, but it was a huge worry for me too. I would suggest something other than the cabin if he cant find it. I tried to explain even and odd numbers and ascending and descending numbers, but my mom made me stop saying I was being mean pushing her. I'd try and make sure there is one place he knows to go if you get separated.

I would worry rcl doesnt notify me of the status of both at the same time to make a decision. Good luck.

Lol yes, as it says above my picture is from breeze. Which of course is dream class. I got bumped from the cabin I booked and moved into the ov with 2 bathrooms. Solo lol. Booked b2b and didnt have same cabin both legs, sad to say. I suspect my first cabin was in a closed off covid ward or something. It was from covid days.

The suite concierge will email about a week before your cruise and should book the shows. Not every ship has the same shows. So just to list what shows I booked may not be your shows. I'm on allure in 2 weeks and booked a 5th show, blue planet or blue something. Not on other ships. I have 5 booked. Also mama mia, comedy, ice skating and diving. There is also suite seating for many shows set aside until 15 minutes before the show if you want to sit in the suite saved area.

Not what you asked, but might be of interest. I had a ocean view on breeze, just a couple cabins past the family harbor area. It wouldnt surprise me if the extra bathroom area extended into family harbor. I had the 2 bathrooms. Didnt even know they existed. They might be listed as deluxe ov. Clearly the hallway in the cabin was longer for the extra door to the 2nd bathroom. Also a extra closet to absorb the space off the hall. 2nd bath has no toilet, just a sink and tub. Plus a regular full bath. I have more but this shows the 2nd bath .. the other bath is a shower. Not a tub.

I check every day. I just like to make double sure.

Well to me there is another downside. Their photos are not computerised. You have to wait while they are printed and then hung up to go find what you want then take it physically to the desk to purchase. On the plus side I guess it would be easier to buy whatever photos you wanted, even if you arent in them?

I love 5 free drinks and 2 days of wifi. I once went to the bar during happy hour. It was so crowded, I ordered nothing and walked away and never went back. Not much if any of a drinker, and enjoy my fresh squeezed oj and specialty coffee. Miss it on other lines. I think it just depends on what you like. Sure I miss some perks that no one but me seems to miss. I am sure there used to be a free wine tasting. Lol my sister went with me. She loved the cheese, doesnt drink. Gave me her white wine I liked. All I hear about are stuff that for me is not important. I like how it is. Pizza gate..

It's never been listed as a perk for lunch since I've been D+, though many have reported they were able to use it for lunch. They want the more expensive dinners on that bogo. .

Makes sense since D+ and pinns only get to choose amenities. Even if wine shows on the list doesnt mean it's in stock, or any other item they show.

I didnt mention it but my sister who has cruised with me is HC. Numerous issues. Seizures so she says it makes her dizzy to look out the windows. Walking etc. So that's actually why she loves the 3 1As on conquest class near a elevator with 2 beds that push together. She wants to be closer to that buffet. On carnival they dont lock up the buffet between meals like royal. For us this is a huge thing. She can sit in the buffet while I get off the ship. People flock to help her on carnival and I get back and she is surrounded by other ladies lol. Carnival is perfect for her. Rcl locks the buffet doors so I cant just leave her there near food and go get off the ship. She cant find our cabin so i cant leave her where she has to move. Doesnt sound like a big deal as I dont see others like me who love this about carnival. The buffet the doors stay open! We like either the one deck 6 or 8 best, because i can take the stairs one down to 5 where the coffee is or walk to the shows. Or from 8 one up to the buffet, our favorite. Conquest class. None of these out of texas right now, I'm settling for dream class. Be careful which one you pick, they are all very different. Carnival is her favorite. People are always so quick to try and help her. She is such a people person, lol unlike me.

That's carnival. Carnival had so many people waiting to purchase the 2nd day to save one days worth of paying for the pkg who didnt want to pay a full day they changed to start day 2. Carnival cruisers are brain washed now who don't remember it wasnt always like that they think its texas. As if texas cares if you use a drink package. I read carnival cruisers all the time blithely saying texas doesnt allow packages. Carnival just doesnt want to do what rcl does with using texas liquor while in texas waters. I did see some brand of beer available only in texas waters though someone posted to drink up, cant get it later.
