Almost no chance carnival will cancel. We had hurricane Ike bearing down on texas and carnival refused to allow people to cancel. If you think there is even a slight chance a hurricane will hit where you depart, park carefully. I was at ezcruise and my car was totalled in Galveston. I never saw it or the contents again. Carnival deposited us in new orleans. No compensation. They said eventually conquest went back to texas, the new terminal in houston, so it counted as a round trip. Carnival historically imo is very cheap about hurricanes. Flr instance we got 1 free phone call on board, and I needed 2 calls to call to book a rental car home. Free wifi would have been appropriate imo for instance. I swore I'd never take another carnival cruise I was so mad at how we were treated. Everyone saying dont worry ... maybe has not had the experience I have?

What is the supper club? I'm waiting for black friday unless there is a special sale. I'll go without at these prices.

The suite lounge and the diamond lounge will both have a specialty coffee machine you might want to try for breakfast. Also a continental breakfast. Sometimes things like donuts filled with creme are only in these spots, not in the buffet or Mdr. Salmon, fruit, bagels, pastries. I stop by for fruit and a donut if they have them. I thought they had breakfast served in chops or some special place for breakfast too for suites and pinnacles.

Ouch, speaking of ... national debt was downgraded by Fitch yesterday. Causing some selling this morning. Listened to nclh earnings. Terrible. CNBC mentioned them with a no name airline asking if 3rd qtr bookings are falling and travel demand coming down for 3rd qtr. I monitor rcl prices and see no fall off in demand, prices still rising. I have a couple in my signature demand is thru the roof. Prices doubled and still rising. I think the talking heads were some what wrong about demand. Ncl may not have as much demand but rcl does. I dont see carnival prices dropping either. Demand has to remain high for these companies to charge enough to get debt paid off. Rcl earnings. Stock went up 10 pts, and pulled ccl and nclh alomg with it. Nclh and ccl just the opposite reaction to their earnings. I've listened to all 3 and watched market reaction. I'll br glad when all 3 are out if debt, of it ever happens.

All discounts are already figured in. The price you see isnt reduced further by the sale. The sale is reflected plus 18%. I went and took pictures. $67 drinks, $27, no alcohol but everything else, plus 18%. You can see the pp here. You have to call to get it this way.

It has to be applied with your other discounts. It's not something everyone can get. For instance my TA says I can either take the $250 balcony discount or the $50, not combinable with balcony discount. I'm sure it has to be applied as a price reduction before you make final payment if it can be applied. It might even just be for new bookings, at any rate I cant apply it. @Ourusualbeachwill know if you can apply it to already booked if you are able to use it which we dont know. I asked once, dont ask any more. I take my balcony discount.

I also dine solo. Been to most all pay restaurants except the Italian. All solo.

Last yea during Dickens on the stand I tried to order the $9.87 or whatever uber and no one was picking up. I finally clicked on comfort, for about $15, and got a pick up. Some drivers dont like those less than $10 trips to and from Galveston hotels. Last time I ordered a car from uber ahead of time. And was like 5 minutes late. I gave him $50 for finding me and waiting. Uber you can text your driver. I said I'm outside looking, he was around a corner but I found him. So nothing wrong with your ride. I wouldnt rush to cancel as it can be hard to find the right car outside. I havent had anyone not pick me up from uber. I havent used lyft. I found the old terminal easier to get in and out of.

Those 2 ships should be alike, built one after another. Lol I've even been on oasis 3 times and allure 2 times and there are some differences like the solarium, but cabins are the same. On harmony for instance the color I'm told is brown, or tan, not green like before. But oasis and allure should be the same.

Lyft was always authorized. Uber didnt want to pay extra to come into the port, but gave in and now is good to go in or out of the port. It is possible some are adding on a charge to enter the port. Some drivers are adding $5. I've used uber for 4 or 5 times and never had trouble. The trouble is in the past. Old news no longer relevant. Uber paid up.

My mom who passed in January was a quilter. I've been driving around to family sharing them. I kept a wall of boxes each with a quilt in every box, and some have a quilt top or baby quilts. I've given out 300 to 400, so it's hard to be jealous when I have a wealth of quilts myself, all special to me. I'm glad you treasure it. That's what quilts are for.

Ok idk that's what the op meant, would the 2nd excursion wait if you were late because you booked 2 excursions in the same day .. if thats the question, if you arent at the meeting pt on time, they will go on without you. They dont care you booked 2 in the same day, that's on you, not them.

The confusing part of the question is you mention b2b excursions in the same port. Then you say if you came back late from the 2nd excursion. Seems like the fact it's a b2b has nothing to do with the question, just if the 2nd one got back late. A rcl excursion would know when to have you back.

Check in for my b2b sept allure is Wednesday. I'll find out then if the earliest time is now 11 am.

If they werent cruising full at higher and higher cruise fares, they wouldnt be able to operate. Higher cash flow is what will get them out of this debt. Pay it off eventually. One of the analyst on carnival said he upgraded it saying he doesnt think it will be necessary to do another secondary to raise money. ie making enough from cruises. I listened to all the conference call I could. I'm holding a chunk and think it's only a matter of time before it goes up. The analyst in effect said carnival isnt going bankrupt. I can remember when things were that tight.

I knew midnight and missed a check in on oasis out of miami so long I missed the earliest time. As my TA told me its midnight in the time zone the ship leaves from. I'm in texas, the oasis went out of miami, so I should have looked 11 pm my time. Now I know lol.

I also doubt you can get into the terminal at 930 am but it doesnt hurt to stand in line outside if you are there early imo. I've had a 1030 am time though, so it might be a wait outside. I dont mind waiting. There is a suite area inside that you can go to once they let you inside.

If you are doing a b2b, typically they hand them back at the end of the 2nd leg. Maybe buy something onboard the ship the last day of 1st leg for a gift. So it's in your cabin. Stick it in a backpack or something at the port. Unless there is a mess up you wouldnt get confiscated liquor back 1st leg.
