I could be wrong as west coast seems to have bargains more so than other ports. .. but $99 .. I havent seen a cruise for $99 .. I did allure last dec and it was not cheaper. And got sick onboard the whole 2nd week. I dont know if you get casino offers but $99 also isnt close to typical imo. My issue with rcl last minute deals is they are gty for couples that solo cant usually book and not $99 cruisefare. I think under $100 a day is low .. had some short grandeur last may 2022 but those prices are rare.

I went to rcl site where my cruises popped up. Then clicked on planner. We bought it on sale for $20.04 for oasis last week. If you are booked look in your planner. Online works better for me.

It was Laura's birthday. I think some of us would rather not cruise during spring break. Hotels and airfare were both extra high. 2k kids onboard.

Oh I had no idea we might get to meet Bella precruise. Didnt hear this mentioned. Great news. I'd rather meet the real Bella. I saw mama mia on allure and it was the best ever.

We didnt rush off oasis and made it about 9 am I think. We had to wait at least 15 minutes for a taxi.

Bella2 is out of PC. Maybe he just wants to change things up. I wouldnt mind a southern 9 day myself. .. though PC has 8 days. I was on this cruise and dont know how the dates were chosen or who was in on the deciding. I'm with seadog and would like oct, usually cheaper.

I dont think he could walk more. He had knee replacement I think hes recoving from and said he will have the other knee replaced soon, it hurt too. I saw walking more helped but he couldnt walk as much as others with knee replacement. I agree and had suggested endema socks or similar. I got my endema gloves also on amazon. I'm recovering from wrist surgery and swollen. They really do help. @Sea Dog

They have those copper infused sock and other endema socks that fit tight and take down swelling. Maybe wear at night. I bought endema gloves and they do help though cut into my incision. Marty as in marty and helen the doctor also said they are good. They say walk more or do calf exercises. I dont get them in my ankles so far but can say the glove works. I've heard epson salts but you would need a bath tub. These gloves say arthritis but are also to relieve swelling and pain. Check out socks.

I guess you have seen the Bella thread where a whole lot of us just sailed in and out of miami. 2 shootings on the beach. Stay downtown or by the airport. Simple. Stay off the beach during spring break. I assumed you were a seasoned cruiser, but this post doesnt make sense to me. Surely you have gone out of miami before and would know there are other alternatives to Miami beach itself. Last year spring break they also imposed a curfew too.

When I drove to port Canaveral condo shopping I too stayed in some big star hotel name, nice. I looked for another city to stop but there really isnt a good place to stay from dallas other than hattiesburg that I could see. Stayed there both directions and I'm sure I will again when i move. At least you will be home tonight. I enjoyed the garlic shrimp but had had it in Giovanni and shrimp cocktail and in WJ. I got shrimped out lol. And i love shrimp and lobster usually but had enough. But it was the best of the new menu imo.

We got off abound 8 am and waited about 15 min at most I'd say for a taxi. As renee posted the marathon was jan 29, not during our cruise. No one knows why rcl still handing that traffic warning out.

Lol and marty said a few pages back a cruise as a present would be better than tires. Pretty tires.

Sorry we didnt get more time to talk. We briefly talked about Galveston hotels. Imo miami even lower priced were better. Galveston gets by with some that are old and in need of refresh. I honestly though beachfront was better than the la quinta I had stayed at which was much worse. Matter of comparison. La quinta my socks turned brown walking on the wood floor, yes I had a view, but I saw bugs at 3 am and my ac went out. .. that was the worst since covid. Sorry if I misled you that beachfront palms was nice, adequate .. nothing went wrong. I was pleasantly surprised my miami hotel looked better than expected for the price. ..going by what I've seen in Galveston. I think people just are reacting to the word stupid .. not disagreeing with you about liking teams. Just that one word. Not what it was about. Symphony ots has 4 nice ports but I also like sea days. Hard to pick for someone else. I'd do a boardwalk balcony and hope you can see out the aft. I prefer aft view to side view. Very nice ports, unusual somewhat. Can you drive to any of the ports. Maybe look at airfare to help you decide. Odyssey does both private island. Are you a beach person. At least no extra money for excursions these ports if you just want to do the beach.

If how others are dressed ruins your cruise, perhaps go on celebrity or Holland America..some line that is more into dress code. Rcl and carnival both are not high end nor is that their target audience. Just pick a different line.

I seem to get random bottles of wine or champagne delivered. I wish they would quit. Sorry you didnt get one, you could have had mine. I give them away.

Original flight 11:40 changed to 1:30 so no hurry today. Still showing we leave on time non stop. 15 minutes we start boarding. Ready already. Let's go.

We were 8 am ish and did wait for a taxi but not more than 15 min I'd guess. It was the $130 fare to ftl that surprised me. I think I took SAS last time. Share a ride thing. Glad we didnt wait later if the line for taxi got that bad. Feeling old today and prices I remember so much less.

I just got off oasis and the family next to me in Mdr ordered multiple entrees. They said they didnt mind they came one at a time. I think its fleetwide. No biggie to me.

I might have misunderstood but he posted he got a fcc. Odyssey was a free cruise, maybe 1400 pts free pinnacle cruise. So he didnt want a refund for a free cruise.

My TA told me only covid is a acceptable reason to rcl. I fell and broke my wrist bad and my mom died unexpectedly within 2 weeks. I forfeited my cruisefare. I didnt check but was told taxes and fees refunded. Good luck. First time in 20 years I've had a issue ... and then I had them piling on for my jan 30th 10 day.

My toilet on 12 also didnt flush this morning and also same I noticed a few days ago. I wondered but didnt find out but it's been ongoing deck 12. Made it to the airport. Taxi prices to me are higher here than flying into Houston.
