  1. Anything below 70F is cold to Floridians. Thanks folks for all the kind Bon Voyages. I don’t believe we could afford Seabourne full time but we did get a good offer on this one.
  2. Good morning! Brr! 41F in Montréal. We dined at the Bonaparte Hotel restaurant last night. Wow! What a great meal and service. We both had a filet of beef Rossini and dessert was a Grand Mariner Soufflé and a bottle of wine. Wow on the price$$$$! We have always stayed at Springfield Suite in Montreal but this small hotel caught our eye at the same price level. Located in Old Montréal we are just a couple blocks from the Cathedral. Would highly recommend. We will be headed to the ship around 11:30 and we will start a new cruising adventure. Thanks Rich and all who contribute. Have a great day. B.
  3. I vote keep it like it is. I for one never liked having two or three Daily’s on the front page. It’s a Daily let’s keep it that way.
  4. Mission accomplished made it Montréal with luggage. Just arrived Bonaparte Hotel A quaint boutique hotel with a highly regarded restaurant. They hauled our bags up and all we had to do was carry our complimentary flutes of bubbly. A nice start. B.
  5. Good Morning. Just landed Atlanta and already onboard for next flight to Montreal. Been up since 3:00 AM. Looks like bags are on board. We are good to go. In lieu of usual here’s our sunrise experience this morning at 30,000 feet. Have a great day. Bruce
  6. So sorry to hear this. Do pray that the issues are quickly resolved.
  7. @rafinmd Roy have you heard or seen anything that Port Everglades PTZTV is going to have two webcams back and running? I really miss the second camera. B.
  8. Ohhh! It would have been better if you had not posted today!
  9. Good morning! Well other then toiletries we are packed and we will be up early tomorrow morning for our flight to Montreal. Our new lawn service crew came yesterday and we are very pleased. Yard has not looked this good in years. Sue says we are going to brunch today but she has to decide where? Whatever, there will be no cooking at home today. Time for church services. Have a great day folks and thanks for the Reports, list and post. Bruce
  10. In the club did they redo and put in dining tables?
  11. Good morning! Up early for no particular reason. Currently 62F and will rise to 80F. There is no more getting around it. It’s packing day. Babbling day will probably set off @RedneckBob on a babbling rant! Turkey recipes are for our Canadian members who still are wondering what to do with their frozen Turkey leftovers. Our new lawn service is supposed to show today so hopefully the yard and shrubbery will get a makeover. Previous service had become really shoddy. My mind is not in a babbling state yet. More coffee please. Thanks for the reports and have a great weekend. Prayer for our deteriorating world. Bruce
  12. We had the Arabic dinner on Journey this summer and it was our favorite Chefs dinner and we have tried all the menu’s offered in last two years.
  13. I would say that our vacation has started. We drove down to Sandestin and had lunch at Tommy Bahamas. The food is fantastic. Being such a beautiful day we elected to dine Al Fresco. Half way through our meal every local second grader we’re on a field trip and their teachers decided the lawn next to our outdoors patio and table was their Al Fresco bag lunch spot. The quiet ambience immediately went poof! It was fun watching their vitality and joy. So no need for dinner tonight. No more procrastinating. Packing will be first on our morning agenda. B.
  14. Good morning. Another late start. @sailingdutchyBon Voyage! @RedneckBob you are on a roll this morning. Thank you for sharing. We got Sue her new walking shoes and I got new sole inserts for my walking shoes. Like walking on air. We then tried a new restaurant for lunch and concluded we would not go back. Enjoyed our Thursday evening small group Bible study came home read some and retired for the evening. Feel sorry for our Canadian world cruisers as because of the dispute between Canada and India they can’t get visas for our India visits and they will miss out in the free included day flight and excursion to the Taj Mahal. If the world continues it’s present ways maybe none of us will be going anywhere.🙏 Time to get out there and get those steps in. It’s a beautiful sunny morning with temps already in the low seventies. Enjoy your upcoming weekend. For us retired folks I guess every day is a weekend.😎 Thanks for the reports and post. Bruce
  15. Texted with my SIL today who is cruising on Eurodam. Maybe due to storms or civil unrest in Guatemala they are definitely on a different itinerary. Today they were in Santiago and not a sea day.
  16. Good morning. Slept late. Wonderful. We have been today’s port and pictures posted brought back great memories. We sailed on the MS Veendam from Val P to Buenos Aires via Antarctica. Pre cruise we did Machu Picchu and after we also did Iguazu Falls on our own. It was a great adventure. I believe I have everything I’m taking on the cruise spread out in guest bedroom. Now just need to roll them up and put them in designated packing bags. Sue needs a new pair of SAS walking shoes and that I’m also taking her to lunch. So my day has been planned. Will finish my coffee and get ready for today’s itinerary. Starting to realize that there is probably going to be some changes to our world cruise itinerary. Such turmoil and hatred in the world. Thanks for the Fleet Report and Daily. Bruce
  17. First few days of sailing can be on the cool side and high seas are more prevalent in winter months. Temps. should start warming as one gets closer to Islands. One never knows what Mother Nature throws at us.
  18. When I have to get down on a knee or two it almost takes a crane to get back up again and that’s sad!😩
