  1. That First Night Done Right (Thanks - I had forgotten about that promotion) was often less $$ than using a D+ BOGO. We used the FNDR promotion several times. M
  2. We decided to tip extra at most specialties because the service was so good. We had not originally planned to, but did. They were great to recommend choices. We did not go to the MDR or WJ at all but left the daily gratuities in place. It never occurred to me to remove them. I've never removed gratuities in 35+ years of cruising. If by chance I have bad service, I take it up with the head waiter/housekeeping immediately. Some service is better than others, but it is rare to categorize it as bad. M
  3. We didn't find Wonder much different from the other O ships. However the entertainment is geared towards family/children. The special effects for the Effectors II are amazing, but the show is definitely for kids/families. We were on for 2 weeks (over spring breaks) and enjoyed the cruises. Line to get in to MTD was long even with a reservation. The second week we had the dining package. M
  4. You do realize that you are not required to use all the vouchers.🙂 ( left over drink vouchers? Some will be amazed that is even a thing!) Of course, of you want a few bottles of water, go right ahead. I like to make sure I have a bottle in the cabin as well. But, I've known some to stockpile water and drag water home. M
  5. Often charged on Coco Cay as well. Never an issue getting it removed. I check my account daily and ( hopefully) catch errors. M
  6. Agree that the Wonder suite sun deck is a lovely place to spend time. We were on the same sailing as you posted and did in fact have major soot issues on the suite deck, on the loungers near the railing, overlooking in-between the basketball court and mini golf. BUT, further back near the bar, or even towards the back wall, there did not seem to be a soot issue. M
  7. Every now and then it appears that I may not have been "zero charged" a crown and anchor drink, in essence giving me an extra drink that day. I tip every drink when i order and really don't know about the missing zero charge until I review my account at the end of the day or the next day. So it is either a mistake, or a gift. M
  8. It is their private destination. Once you get off the ship, just walk down the pier and walk or tram to one of many beaches. All are complimentary. Lunch is included and comes from the ship. If you have the drink package it works on Labadee as well. Some activities are extra. There is no pool or water park. M
  9. You will need to wait until your next cruise to enjoy D benefits.
  10. Plus MDR for breakfast and dinner every day and lunch on sea days. m
  11. They are making sure the app is correct. You should be able to see menus in a few days or on board. We've had the menu day order change ( flipped day 3 with day 4) just a few days prior to sailing. M
  12. That is strange, I asked the cabin attendant to fill the ice bucket at every cleaning, and it has never been denied or not done Filling the ice bucket is certainly not any type of unusual request and is almost routine by the way, Ice is not normally provided in any type of accommodation. You simply asked your cabin attendant. m
  13. That was listed on a recent Mariner compass and app as well. Made me laugh. I see new activities in the future..... bedmaking 101 and buffet cleanup. M
  14. We've been on several NYE cruises and all of them had a balloon drop on NYE. M
  15. Sailed mariner last week in a Balcony deck 6. There was a USB port on the side of the phone. Helpful! (FYI and off topic, but I believe Indy phones had a USB port as well.) M
  16. Yes. Thanks-I know about the adult area under construction. I was verifying that you were not referencing any type of suite area. m
  17. Do you mean Royal is adding the adult area? I doubt they will add a suite area, and suspect one day (sadly sooner than later), that Barefoot Beach will be a paid venue like Coco Beach Club. M
  18. Never happened to us, before or after the restart. Yours is the first time I am hearing or any problems. Knowing the guest services lines on embarkation afternoon, it must be aggravating for you as well as for who has your cards, to get the correct cards. M
  19. I guess they can use any low price and then have it " sold out" when you try to buy it. M
  20. And I've seen a couple wearing a gold rectangle "Pinnacle in Training" badge that looked like a Pinnacle badge. So, wearing the badge must have some allure to folks. And then recently saw a Pinnacle badge different from all others. I learned that the person was a new Pinnacle, but had not yet received their badge, so they wore a privately made badge. I guess that badge was important to these folks as well. M
  21. Some wear pins all the time and others not at all. It is their preference, and it doesn't matter to me what they decide to do. I fall in the middle and wear one when checking in/boarding, so I am easily directed to the proper lines or waiting areas. I wear it at Pinnacle lunch. The strangest was a few years ago when a MDR wait staff learned from the Head Waiter that we were Pinnacle (not wearing pins). He asked us to wear the pins, so his colleagues saw that he was waiting on Pinnacle guests. (small ship and just a few Pinnacles on board). His request seemed silly to me, but we graciously accommodated his ask. We put the pins on when seated and took then off at the end of the meal. Except for this instance, we've never been asked or told to wear the pins. We prefer to not wear then around the ship. I do see quite a few passengers wearing their other level C&A pins. As for B2B, we ALWAYS tip at the end of each leg as we never know if staff will be moved for the next leg. M
  22. I've had the same issue for a 7 night package for Wonder - January, 2024. It is often posted at $199 one day but when I click to buy it is sold out, and then $260 the next and readily available. This pattern has been in place since we booked the cruises a few weeks ago. Frustrating! M
