Harmony OTS Dining Breakfast
cruisegirl1 replied to Bubbis3's topic in Royal Caribbean International
No for Diamond/Diamond Plus . Pinnacle can have breakfast in Chops (because they are not allowed access to Coastal Kitchen for breakfat) , similar to the MDR menu. I thought the separate D breakfast area was generally on ships with no D lounge for specialty coffee/ breakfast. I remember the area on Monarch The Harmony D lounge has a nice continental breakfast M -
Our first was the Carnival ( Original) Mardi Gras in January 1987. Haven't stopped cruising yet after more than 35 years. There was a button in the cabin that you could press day or night and the cabin attendant would arrive. We had a small inside cabin, but surprisingly it had a large high bathtub. I hope you feel better M

When did the gratituites increase?
cruisegirl1 replied to Ex-Airbalancer's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Ken - will my booked cruises keep the old rate if even if don't prepay gratuities? I don't like to prepay gratuities as I usually have OBC to apply against the gratuities. Or, will the rate go into effect for non-prepaid as per the sail date, not booking date? Thank you M -
Do you have the second page with the additional offerings? M

It can be confusing. There is a Welcome beverage - water/soda/beer (depending on C&A status) Welcome back cookies (no longer delivered on some ships) Gift selection(s) starting at 175 points, and depending on C&A status Chef Choice amenity (can't select what you get) that is making a comeback on some ships. I asked for towels/totes ( when all my wine sections were not available) back in November and I'm still waiting. Was on the same ship last week and asked the LA about the towels and was told to forget about them. So, we were B2B, eligible for a total of 6 gifts ( 3 for each cruise) and received nothing. That's how it sometimes goes! Also was waiting for the "mailed" crystal block that was never delivered. LA had blocks and gave me one. M

Private Section at Labadee- Sea Class Admitted?
cruisegirl1 replied to CHolliwood's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Does not include Jr. Suites ( and never has), but the Barefoot Beach Cabanas are now open to anyone. So, if you really want Barefoot Beach, you can book a Cabana. M -
Yes. M

Why I am so stressed about testing!
cruisegirl1 replied to handbellplayer's topic in Royal Caribbean International
There is a site where you can login( make an appointment) and use the free government issued tests.I believe there is a $15 fee per test. Sorry I don’t recall the name. It is something like On point or One Point. You can Google it. Folks have reported good success. The past couple of cruises, we’ve used the RCCL tests with good results. m -
Testing still mandatory for over 6 day cruises
cruisegirl1 replied to hazeleyes46's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Not sure they've thought that through, but likely no test required. You are B2B and they have eliminated the B2B second leg testing. And who knows what the protocols will be in October? M -
Consecutive cruisers lunch on Indy??
cruisegirl1 replied to tonto524's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Seems few ships are offering a B2B lunch. Mariner had one recently (last month), Harmony did not (last week). I hope that someone responds regarding Independence. We have a B3B coming up. m -
Many of the items on the vegan menu are delicious and often ordered by those NOT following a vegan diet. M

DRINKS IN THE DIAMOND LOUNGE DURING HAPPY HOUR
cruisegirl1 replied to jamscckmc's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Just came from a dr. appointment and one question on their new computerized profile was "how many days on the past year have you had 4 or more drinks per day?" I was tempted to answer, " As many days as I cruised!" It actually allows you to input 366. (this was the second time I've had that question - the two Dr's must use the same program) The actual number is more like never. M -
yup - we have a B3B - 4/3/4 coming up, so no test! Weird that a 7 day needs a test, but we will not. I guess because every B2B leg is a separate cruise. Separate booking #, set of taxes/fees, etc. Normally, because B2B testing was eliminated I would have only tested for the first 4N cruise anyway. M
