  1. Nice gesture. Definitely the on board credit. Many don’t need another tote or want to select a style/design that they like. Same with the lanyard, if they even wear one. The luggage tags are a good idea m
  2. Teatime on Royal Caribbean was more like afternoon snacks. They tried to make it classy by including scones But I agree, a nice teatime is fun. m
  3. Better book a full suite. Some ships don’t allow suite lounge access for pinnacle members. They may use the Diamond lounge along with Diamond and Diamond Plus. m
  4. They do not ask. You need to call to make a request. Preferences were removed from the website a few years ago when the website was “enhanced”. m
  5. Glad you had a positive experience. Be aware that many of the gifts are not available on board. Supply issues. If what you chose is not available, they offer a substitute. M
  6. Is that directed to me? Not sure what it means. I haven’t been on Harmony since late April. m
  7. Yes, Johnny Rockets has a cover charge. What are the ages of your children? Unless they are very young toddlers, they cannot simply eat off your plate. You may need to pay the cover for everyone in the family. It is in the $11-$12 range. m
  8. Ask someone in the Windjammer to get you a tray. They will. Keep it with you or ask every time you go. Either one is fine I hope everything works out for you. m
  9. No I wasn’t there, that’s why I asked. I’ve been lucky, as I haven’t experienced what you described. Except, for the limited drink selections. m
  10. Royal can't add the tips to the cruise fare, unless EVERY cruise line did the same. People price ship. In my opinion, guests should NOT be allowed to remove auto gratuities. It is the cost of cruising, like port fees. M
  11. Johnny Rockets is NOT open for breakfast on most ships. It is open for breakfast on Oasis class ships. M
  12. What is a "free for all crazy event"? Every top tier I've attended has folks walk in, take a drink, sit in a chair, listen to the program, get up and leave. What free for all crazy event am I missing? M
  13. OK thanks. If I recall, you've made these types of posts in the past, that is why I asked if it was a joke. Enjoy you next cruise. M
  14. Machine was turned off about 9PM on a recent Harmony cruise. They were cleaning the machine. m
  15. You are SO disappointed in Royal Caribbean and started thread because you didn't care for a show? Sorry, I don't get the issue. What am I missing? Is this some sort of joke post? I don't like juggling acts. When ever one is featured, I simply don't attend. NO problem. M
  16. I don't get the appeal for the price. We went once and I doubt we'd go again. At $500 for the 2 of us for a few upcoming cruises, NO THANKS! We had a nice lunch but the service was SO SLOW. and (our fault) we didn't realize we needed reservations, and had to eat too late in the day. We were tempted to go to the Snack Shack to get a sandwich. I do like that Coco Cuvee and so far, can't get it anywhere else on Coco Cay but the beach club. I'm happy for those who enjoy it. In my opinion, it is an expensive beach day. I'm happy with the complimentary beach, complimentary food (I can eat when I want) , complimentary pool. M
  17. This is the letter you can expect to see when you board. It will be in your cabin and will detail on board benefits. If anything has changed it will be reflected on the letter Enjoy your cruise
  18. If you go to the gifts section of the website there are small (half bottles) bottles of alcohol and mixers for purchase. RCCL sells a water package. m
  19. Years ago, the Nellies beach Cabanas DID include lunch at Barefoot Beach. M
  20. I guess I am officially old! I find the music on board uncomfortably loud, especially in the theater. Sometimes the music is so loud, I can't hear the singers. We generally sit 10 rows or so from the stage and I wonder if there is a better spot that is not as loud. Went to Captains Jacks on Coco Cay and couldn't carry on a conversation, simply too loud. Coco Cay pool is loud but that is a party area, and I understand the desire to have loud music. Lucky for me, I like the beach. Of course, important announcements are so low, I can't understand what is being said. Just no pleasing me!😀 M
  21. Yes, often medical care can take a toll on family finances. Thank you for your understanding. M
  22. Well, that is not necessarily accurate. A pinnacle member, sailing in any class cabin, has access to Barefoot Beach. M
  23. I agree that many people live above their means, but I would not lump huge medical bills into that category. People have a choice to buy specific items, but no one has a choice in their medical condition or to be diagnosed with a medical disease. If I had a choice, I certainly would not have chosen my life-threatening medical diagnosis. Thankfully I am able to afford good medical insurance/care, but others might not have that option. it was very sad to see the fights on the Royal Caribbean and carnival cruise ships. m
  24. Shrimp is served at Coco cay, at the Coco Cay Club. It’s part of the appetizer box. Several weeks ago, our Mariner cruise stopped at Labadee. The barefoot beach lunch included both cold peeled shrimp and shrimp salad. When recently on Harmony and stopping at Labadee, shrimp was not served at barefoot Beach lunch. m
  25. Yikes, I will certainly be disappointed if Barefoot Beach is removed as a suite amenity. m
