  1. Regardless of how you received your D status, (reciprocal, parents to child/married in etc.) get the D beverages. ( Of course underage children get 4 drinks, just not alcohol!) Simply tell them you are NOT using a voucher and want to use the beverage package. If you think you will not need the packages, you can cancel them. Enjoy
  2. We've only seen a Vegan menu in the MDR. I order from it frequently even though I don't follow a vegan diet. I like several options they offer. When I was dining in Coastal Kitchen, there was no Vegan menu but I was asked what I wanted and they would "try" to accommodate. I didn't bother because i am able to eat other items. The specialty restaurants do not list a vegan menu. If you plan to dine there I would contact them the day prior and ask about vegan options. You may need to order the meal in advance. M
  3. I thought it was crew optional for European cruises? Not those cruises originating from the US. It will be great when crew have an option. M
  4. There will be changes until every protocol is dropped. Of course, by then we'll have some new issue and start all over again. M
  5. We have an 8-hour drive and want to get on the road. In the winter months we prefer to arrive home while there is still daylight. Recently disembarked from Port Canaveral Terminal 5 and since you pay when you leave, there is a tie up to get out of the parking garage. Want to get ahead of that. We don't often have to rush off when we have a flight home. M
  6. Leaving on Harmony in 3 weeks. We had tags but then changed cabins. I have new edocs, but no tags. M
  7. I rarely pack for more than 6 or 7 nights. If 10 or more nights, I might pack an additional top. I wear outfits/dresses twice and simply don't care. I don't take 'What if" clothing. Pack EXTRA MEDS. Several years ago we had a cruise extended three days because all the Florida ports were closed from Hurricane Irma. We were diverted to the Western Carib and had beautiful weather. Lots of passengers were buying meds in Mexico. M
  8. 30 days as noted, but I'd wait as long as possible ( maybe 3 weeks prior to the cruise) in case the Bermuda Gov't makes a change. At this point not likely as the $40 pp is gladly accepted. If I recall - we applied about 3 weeks out with no issues. M
  9. I check the account every day. So easy with the app. No way am I willing to pay $45 for drinks that should be complementary. I'll gladly pay the portion over the $13 allotment. M
  10. We find that repositioning /transatlantic/transpacific type cruises have lots of additional activities in sea days. There is usually an enrichment speaker, bridge class and other organized options. Be sure to join the CC M&M ( or other social medial pages) to meet others for like interests. (cards/games/crafts etc.) I downloaded several movies/books as well. Our days were different from the usual sea day in the middle of a Caribbean cruise when we might just relax and drink. We had a daily routine that included some exercise. have fun. M
  11. I order several items from the Vegan menu. The gazpacho is WONDERFUL! There is a good fennel and quinoa salad. The pasta is also good but a bit spicy. Loys of other nice Vegan options. enjoy
  12. Thanks for posting. I tired to explain this to someone and failed miserably. I like these cabins because they are deeper than standard. I never consider any balcony fully private. I am however surprised that they never added the full length dividers to the front portion after all these years. M
  13. The full schedule of activities will be available on the app when you board. There will be shows in Studio B and often another activities as well. M
  14. The actual CD? - not to me. He/she is responsible for planning activities, and I don't see a huge difference in activities from ship to ship. M
  15. We have been able to text/receive from a variety of providers with the package. We also have good results with WiFi calling/facetime. M
  16. Wine tastings are regularly offered on Oasis class and many other ships. Check the App, Compass, or with vintages. Last week on Independence, they even offered a Bourbon tasting. M
  17. Both appetizers at once seems to be the new norm. M
  18. They don't have a take out service but during dinner some ask for an item to take back to the cabin. Many do this with dessert. It is just a plate with a cover over the food. So I guess you can walk in and try to get an entree. Of course anything more than a plate or two would be cumbersome to carry back to the cabin. Be aware that there is no way to heat up food in the cabin, and there is no often dedicated eating area, just perhaps the couch or bed. Some ship only have coffee tables on the balconies, not standard height dining tables. If you want to dine in your cabin, I suggest room service. They have several nice options for dinner. Everything will be delivered, even ( non alcohol) beverages. Or, if your ship has a Playmakers or Izumi Sushi, you can get items to go from there. Playmakers is set up with to go boxes. Enjoy
  19. Since the return to sailing, or previously? Didn't see it on Allure in Oct 2021 M
  20. Haven't seen it on Allure or Harmony since the return to sailing. If they offer it - it should show up in the cruise planner. M
  21. Serenade from Tampa, October cruises stop in GC. We have a couple of B2B with the same itinerary, stopping in GC, Cozumel and a few sea days. We are looking forward to returning as well. M
  22. Most know and accept that the reciprocity only goes up to Diamond or Elite. A D, D+ or Pinnacle passenger transfers to Elite on Celebrity, and a Celebrity Elite, Elite +and Zenith passenger transfer to Diamond on RCCL. We were D+ when we sailed our first Celebrity cruise and were very happy to receive Elite status. Elite/Diamond have slightly different benefits, but both are generous. M
