  1. Had one on Harmony in March. Good but didn’t live up to the hype IMO.
  2. Not all flights, not every time. But our flights home to CT from FLL started at 17,300 points ($225) price has dropped twice since then, now 9600 points ($148). Got 7700 points back so far.
  3. Yes you are! We were in an OS on Harmony in March, just gorgeous! And huge!!!
  4. Go to the app, click on check in, click on arrival time, choose your desired time. Close app, go to bed, do the rest at your leisure.
  5. No longer the case. Entertainment reservations can only be done once in board unless you have access to the suite concierge. They can make reservations early for you. And you definitely need them for the comedy shows.
  6. Drinks are $13 then tip is added (if you have the DBP its already included) making a drink purchased out of pocket $15.34.
  7. Don’t think there is any promotion put out by Royal that requires you use a TA 🤷‍♀️
  8. I watch A LOT! And I’m now retired so can go pretty much whenever I find a cheap flight. Hard to believe but I got a quick trip late May for $39 each way!
  9. We are flying into FLL for our first cruise out of Miami. Staying 2 nights (just to be safe) in Dania Beach then will book a shuttle service to & from POM.
  10. Yup that $59 fare included 2 50lb checked bags and a carry on & personal bag.
  11. Flew CT to MCO & back the Tuesday before to the day after Xmas. $59 each way! Every once in awhile!
  12. Our 8 day on Explorer has fluctuated between $73 and $78 before gratuities. Too high for us.
  13. My daughter moved to Florida (still trying to bribe her home) in 2010. So I fly CT to MCO several times a year. I have always been able to get SWA flights for $200 or less RT, about 12,000 points. Now that same 12,000 only gets a $160ish fare. So not only have fares gone up but the points for that fare have gone up.
  14. Also guessing not referring to the SAME TA in each instance ie flew domestic on a TA coming to the US to then going home. Flew international to a TA departing in Europe, maybe the same TA here?
  15. Yes, I am debating with myself over bringing wine & a 12 pack of diet ginger ale. I know my husband will balk at carrying stuff on board 🤷‍♀️
  16. I manage that pretty well through day 4 or 5. Unfortunately I find I wimp out after that. We are trying OOP this time. I have mixed feelings about it. As a “frugal” type, I know I will drink less because it’s not prepaid. But with it, I would force myself to drink more than I would want. Thankfully will be Diamond after this cruise.
  17. With gratuities, drinks are $15.34 ($13 plus 18% tip) And because they can.
  18. Helps living spitting distance from the port!! 😁
  19. Coming in a day earlier & staying a day later due to flight prices. The extra nights at the hotel are still cheaper:
  20. I don’t understand??? I thought when you canceled a cruise to which you’ve applied FCCs, the FCCs are reissued. No???
  21. But those are “last minute deals” from a 3rd party site and not necessarily the norm. Maybe that doesn’t make a difference but thinking it probably does.
