    Unfortunately we already have the EBBHIA but this is what is available on our upcoming cruise. Think IT forgot a $5 when making changes. It goes to the cart as is. Let my PCC know but it hasn’t been updated in over a week.

    We were told by the Hotel Manager at a Q&A that the money is pooled and distributed once a month to crew members.

    The best value is always the verandahs because they have the most categories to choose.

    We like the Muti device plan so we can each have our iPhones and iPads connected all the time. Easier to transfer pictures from one device to the other since all are connected. Doesn't cause any issues with Navigator.

    Buying the premium package pre-cruise saves you 20% which makes a big difference on longer cruises. You can't use the Mariner discount however. The multi device is also cheaper than 2 individual plans.

    Gift cards can't be used for crew appreciation pre-cruise. You could take the card onboard and have it applied to your account.

    We do keep all our gift card numbers but when a port was cancelled on our last cruise, the HAL shore excursion which had been paid by AARP gift card was refunded to the onboard credit card which was more convenient. I would think onboard they wouldn't have access to the gift card info.

    Looks like you can board in either Seattle or Vancouver.

    Saw on the Points Guy that HAL will be doing a 29 day RT Seattle to both AK & HI on 8/31/25. Wondering when it will be online to book. Nice new itinerary!

    They had this on our recent Oosterdam TA last week. Served by chefs but difficult to see what was offered since they had the area cordoned off to keep people back. Looked really good!

    Onboard Oosterdam now- internet has been excellent but we did go 3 days without TV because of our route deviation due to Atlantic storms.

    Glad your PG lunch was complete- Oosterdam has no coffee gelato for our 26 day cruise- that’s one of our highlights of the PG lunch!

    It opened yesterday at 11am!

    They are not Pinnacle class so your breakfasts are in different places. You should be able to sit together in the main dining room for dinner.

    If you are in a pinnacle class ship, you were both have breakfast in club orange and can both have dinner in club orange. If not, Neptune suite breakfast is held in the pinnacle Grill and club orange is held in the main dining room with special seating.

    That was me before and I had to call HAL to cancel. This is making partial payment on the cruise total cost. It worked again for a while but now is back to wanting CC info. Have tried several different computers. Will have to wait until back in the states.

    Is anyone else having problems making partial payments online using only gift cards. I used to be able to do this easily, and now it seems to want credit card information as well.

    You should just be able to book with your credits.

    When we visited the Haarlem church we were told Mozart had played there when he was 10 years old.

    We were told the average cruise ship is charged several hundred thousand dollars for a transit!

    Can help with a couple items. A recent cruiser indicated it costs $50 to upgrade wifi to premium on a 14 day cruise. The CO fee is $15pp/pday on a 14 day cruise. You would not get a room upgrade if you are at the top verandah level but might be offered some OBC (some have received this but not guaranteed). You can call HAL ship inventory at 888-628-8107 for availability.

    I was told that you can't get the first 90 day bonus and the Mariner Welcome Home bonus for the same cruise- it's one or the other.

    Sounds great- we board the Oosterdam in 2 weeks and look forward to the music walk!

    What was amazing to us was a cabin steward remembering not only our names but our former cabin number on a cruise that was four months later on the same ship (we had gone from port to starboard and met him in the hall one day on the second cruise!).
