Is the taxi rate the same from POM to MIA? Just had a port change and coming into MIA instead of FLL. Any idea of earliest flight on Saturday from MIA that would work? TIA

Noticed fall fare (final payment due next week) was $1000 less than we paid. Called PCC to see if they would just add new HIA or crew appreciation. Was told it would cost me $170pp more. Said no thanks and asked if anything else could be done. PCC refared my cruise and we got over $1800 refund. Appreciate that but would have cost them much less to just give us crew appreciation but I'm not complaining.

The MCS episode on the Costa Diadema showed them taking an excursion from Civitavecchia to a medieval town with a minimal population. Does anyone know the name of the town? I posted on Costa board but no response and they no longer list it as an excursion on the Costa site. TIA for any help.

Amsterdam is limiting cruise ships through the canal. All ship companies must make changes. HAL has operations in Rotterdam for sailings, all others must change itineraries to arrive in Amsterdam when possible. Nature rules!

We've been to Dublin several times and are thinking about taking a train to an Irish village maybe an hour away to get a pub lunch and walk around. Anyone have any suggestions on a town to visit? TIA

We had a Dec. 2023 cruise booked with a 2 Cruise Next certificates. Called and asked to cancel and book an earlier cruise. Agent made us put down $250 deposit saying it would take a couple days for CN's to be put back into our account. It's been 3 weeks and the cruise has still not been cancelled. Have called agent again. Will they allow us to put the CNcertificates on the newly booked cruise even though we already had to put down the $250 deposit? Any help appreciated- never had this before. BTW- the first request we made to the agent was to CANCEL the Dec. cruise so we could reuse the CN deposits. Obviously she was more interested in us booking the new cruise.

Just returned from B2B on the Nieuw Statendam in Europe. The ship had run out of straws at some point and also had run out of Malbec wine and Bailey's. At some point only 12 bottles of Malbec were delivered to the ship and you could only order is from the Pinnacle and Club Orange restaurants. We had a great time, but this is just the reality of sailing in 2022. Also, European airports are a mess with cancelled flights, striking baggage handlers and air traffic controllers. We had some passengers whose lost luggage caught up to them in day 8-9 of a 12-day segment.

Was your Trieste checkin at the terminal right across from the Savoia Excelsior hotel? Last fall we were bussed to a different terminal to checkin and also to pick up luggage afterward. We cruise again this fall and wonder if it will be the same. Thanks for your help!

Be thankful HAL isn’t using Ravenna which is another hour from Venice!
