FWIW, here the wine-by-the-glass pricing found in the wine list aboard Constellation this month:

During our Connie TA cruise earlier this month I saw a British couple take $200 of promo chips from their OBC at the cashier cage and proceed to go straight to the roulette table. They split the promo chips between them and one bet on red and while the other bet on black. The winner would be paid in cashable chips while the loser would lose their promo chips. The retained stack of promo chips from the winner would then be split in half and the procedure would be re-run again. When you do that, zero and double zero is your enemy and they were able to avoid that fate that until they were down to betting one single $5 promo chip.

It's tempting to do. The only problem for me is that I already have already spent the rest of my allotted vacation this year on a TA cruise that I just finished and 4 weeks of vacation for next year have been allocated to cruises (Galapagos + Asia)....

Here in Chicago, I noticed that the sailings were released around 10 pm on the night before.

We just booked the Apr 20 2024 Summit Transcanal sailing (14 night) as well as the Apr 9 2025 Solstice Fiji Transpacific cruise (17 night). Both will be a first for us in terms of these types of sailings. When I was on board Constellation earlier this month, I went ahead and put deposits down for two different future cruises and used them for the above bookings to get the extra OBC.

My son keeps ignoring his free cruise invitations that are being sent out my email account. I dutifully forward them on, but I guess he is not interested.

We did have a square bar of soap for our stateroom, but the shower gel still came in those one-use shot glasses. "Make sure you leave me some!" was the bathroom battle cry.

If available, you should book your partner for a different tour date!

Nice. I trust you were able to book the same cabin. We are looking at Solstice because it calls on more islands where we can go diving.

We are thinking about booking one of the TransPacifics......

We had main seating and we were located in the front of the dining room on Deck 5. We had a full view of how empty the port side of the Deck 5 MDR was.

My wife found a work around and used cash.

Non-cellular Apple Watch and iPhone talk to each other via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. I am somewhat surprised that Beyond had the latest model Apple Watch because the iLounge typically carries older models of Apple products.

That is nice it is so uncrowded. The last time we visited St Thomas, it was a 6 cruise ship day and unfortunately our ship, Eclipse, was the odd man out as there was dock space for only 5. So it was a tender port for us.

How many cruise ships today at St Thomas?

Informative photo. I walked out to the balcony at 2 am on the last night of the cruise and I was surprised how close Constellation was to Tampa as we were already sailing in between the navigation beacons marking the way towards the bay. Perhaps the extra red tape from the TA crossing required Constellation to be the a little early?

Too bad if that comes here. I usually order a second lobster tail on the last EC night. However on our recently completed Constellation TA, I forgot to ask--partly because I am out of practice (my first cruise since the pandemic). However our waiter already had 2nd lobster tails that he delivered to everyone at our table. Nice.

I agree with your observation although I still participate. The ship's tournament is not rigorously run like a real competitive blackjack tournament. It is more like a slot tournament.

Some 2024/25 sailings were released last night including some I didn't expect yet (Norway and trans canal). With the Black Fri promo in effect, you may want to visit the Future Cruises Dept...
