  1. It seems that Princess has simply made it more difficult to cruise! More and more people are having problems with the app, the website and the process of going on a cruise.
  2. Great idea but! You already made the purchase; unless you asked before you made the purchase. People usually ask for a bag after the purchase; if they don't have a bag, and you ask them to send it to your cabin; and if they don't make an effort to send it to your cabin, wouldn't you be out a purchase?
  3. I know there are several "categories'" of suites on the ship, does anyone know if this shoreside lounge will be available to those in a Reserve Collection Mini-Suite? Thanks for any info.

  5. He/she didn't say that, he/she said larger clientele; very polite.
  6. Book soon, pay more but get cabin choice; Book later, save some money but, cabin selection is limited. If you don't care about cabin selection, booking later is the way to go.
  7. Carnival is a "Party Ship", loud, bosteous, drinking crowd. Princess caters to a more mature crowd. So it's your choice---want to party hardy, go Carnival, want a more relaxed cruise, go Princess.

  10. The documentation we received from Princess stated that those in the Reserve Collection Mini-Suites have priority embarkation/disembarkation. Is this correct? Would you confirm, we appreciate it, thanks.
  11. I had a similar problem for a couple of months, (that's right), it kept coming back with an error message indicating that I entered an invalid booking number. Nothing wrong with the booking number, it was the infamous glitch with the app.
  12. Responding SargassoPirate's post: Glad you took the initiative and reported it. Hat's off to you! Can you just imagine trying to walk thru the corridors when the ship is going thru some rough seas. There were times when the wife and I were walking thru a "clear" corridor and had to hold on to the rails; imagine if we also had to negotiate around scooters!
  13. I've got a ton of patience and love the challenge; it's great when you face a problem head on, persevere and the feeling you get when, due to your own efforts, it's resolved.
  14. Great Idea! We also put printed itineraries (going and coming) in one of the sleeves.

Those "reps" are such a waste; a real thorn in the side of Princess; a few months ago, I called to ask why my Medallion wasn' working, [it kept telling me that they cannot find my booking number, which is valid and accessible on the web site], two different "reps" on two different phone calls told me, the Medallion app will only work after final payment. What a load of BS, a chat session on Princess told me that's totally incorrect and my Medallion will work in 24 hours after he submits a service ticket, which it did the next day! Princess-- get rid of these incompetent "reps"!
  17. Agree: have used them for years; safe holders, never had a problem, worth the extra cost. Paper tags can rip off, why take a chance?
  18. You can print the luggage tags! Then ensure you have a plastic holder to attach to your luggage.
  19. I know that Princess is a business, but, the point I was trying to make is, if other 'businesses' ran their IT Systems/Customer Support like Princess does, they would be out-of-business. I work for an organization that oversees the pension systems of five city agencies, and we provide excellent support and up-to-date IT Systems with a great customer support team!
  20. If a business had this issue constantly; it would be-out-of-business for sure!
  21. At least, if you book early, you have a great chance of getting the cabin you want, wait and the selection may not be as available.
