Sort Live from the Infinity around the horn and back

Under the wifi connection make sure "Auto Join" is enabled. -
Groups of 16 shouldn't be allowed to dine together in either Blu or Luminae either. Large group sizes in these small venues almost always detract from the experience of others. (noise).

I think they were trying to add some exclusivity to the Aqua Suite to justify the upcharge for the same room which was a Sky Suite prior to April!
-
I hadn't realized this about Aqua suites. It appears room service is available from the Blu menu. This is taken from the above link. Full In-Suite Menu (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) featuring clean cuisine from Blu The other thing I found interesting on these pages is it appears access to Blu on a space available basis is only available to Aqua-Suites. It's not listed for Sky-Suites or Royal-Suites (which mention every other restaurant). Last Sept on Equinox we were in a Sky suite and were told that Blu was no longer an option that it was upper suites only. I presumed at the time it was at least partially to give the Aqua-suite some differentiator.

question about bringing 2 bottles of wine per person aboard

New revenue stream for Celebrity "Screwage Fee"😁 -
You can certainly mix clothing from multiple passengers in the bag. The passenger stuff during purchasing is really just who is paying. The bag isn't all that big but you can generally get quite a bit into it. Certain Captains Club members get the bag as a perk and there it's advertised as 30 piece max. Rolling items up works pretty well.

Effective Mar 2 2023: Changes to Non-Refundable Deposit Policy

Didn't answer my question. I was looking for the professional TA response. FYI I am a special customer of my TA. -
Effective Mar 2 2023: Changes to Non-Refundable Deposit Policy
wrk2cruise replied to mahdnc's topic in Celebrity Cruises
@Jeremiah1212 Can a suite be brought into the group when someone is ready to deposit it? In that situation is there a downside for the TA? My TA only does a limited number of group categories and always tells me he can't add the suite. -
Transferring a booking made with Celebrity to a travel agent
wrk2cruise replied to rubyred2010's topic in Celebrity Cruises
You can't transfer a booking after final payment. It sounds however that you don't have a booking but a reservation on hold which you want to book through your TA. In this case generally the TA can do a conference call with Celebrity and you to accomplish taking the held reservation and booking via the TA. Is the situation that your TA is not available? -
There is a baffle in the hallway that can be adjusted to supply more warm or more cool air if your room can't be maintained to your desired temp. As others have said mention to your steward and it will be taken care of.

What's the current Book Future Cruise onboard policy?
wrk2cruise replied to DebInAntigua's topic in Celebrity Cruises
The docs for our sailing next week say 90 days. -
It helps if you do it. Otherwise you may have to go to GR to supply your credit card. As @jelayne says it doesn't take long and then it's all taken care of. If you are onboard and don't have internet I wouldn't worry about it. Edit: Well that was stupid, if your posting here you have internet. Also you can probably do checkin from the app even if you don't have a package. I blame it on the DST change last night!

Probably less than 30 people on that sailing are on cruise critic. It was one person asking if there were others. We have groups from our neighborhood who have been on Celebrity cruises where 12 out of 40 have come back positive. It's a thing. I think most people here are not saying it's not going to happen, but a bit of basic hygiene would go a long way in avoiding many of the illnesses caught onboard.

Acting as they did pre-covid. ^^^^ This ^^^^

If you get there after boarding starts (around 11) there is really no advantage of going through the suite line other than there are extra people for processing. Generally once in the terminal after boarding starts you are on the ship within 10-15 minutes.

As others have said just use the app. The ... bubble at the top right will get you to the messaging screens. No internet package needed.

Doesn't seem to be offered in Cruise Planner. I guess you have to call. I believe if you are Elite or higher you get a discount as well. You can also upgrade onboard but will probably be more $$.
-
No. That may just about be the only thing it can't be used for. I believe it's @cruisestitch that has a list which is posted often of the things it can be used for.

I am Elite the second person in same Cabin is not.
wrk2cruise replied to bermuda_fm's topic in Celebrity Cruises
I think the confusion comes from the change in the CC happy hour. Cabin mates who are not Elite are allowed to attend CC events with the Elite member but don't get benefits. In the old days that meant they could attend the happy hour in the Sky lounge with drinks, the breakfast, CC welcome party, and do things like backstage tour etc, but wouldn't get the coupons for discounted bottles of wine, spa or whatever. Post covid with the elimination of the Sky lounge happy hour it's no longer a CC event and the drinks are a benefit like the other discounts which don't apply to the non Elite cabin mate. -
Yes ships water is reverse osmosis and to me tastes fine. I believe I heard early on with Edge sailings they weren't allowing bottled water to be brought on as they were making a point about the reduction of single use plastic. I suspect that may have now morphed into the fact you may not be able to check it at the pier but they allow you to carry it on.

You can ask politely but don't be disappointed if the answer is no. There are many threads here regarding the ability to order from the MDR menu in Blu. Technically the answer on S and E ships is no because the galleys are not co-located like they are on M class ships. But some report success. It really depends on the Matre'd. Keep in mind that one of the Blu staff members is going to have to go to the other galley to get it which could impact service.

I'm not sure the OBC would be refunded to the original form of payment (Amex) or the card registered for you onboard account. We once had a gift purchased for us by our TA which Celebrity didn't have so they just refunded our TA's credit card. I've never been willing to take the chance so I take it in cash on the last day.
