  1. When itineraries are offered as individual bookings and a combined b2b booking Princess allocates certain cabins for each leg and legs of the cruise. The cabins that you refer to are being held for the individual 12 day and 14 day cruises. If you want one of these cabins for both legs you will have to book as two separate cruises AND try to have your bookings marked as no upgrade. My past experience from booking many b2bs is that booking as separate cruises offers more flexibility and sometimes more OBC. Once on board your medallion will be valid for the entire 26 days, the account balances will carry over and you will have one final invoice on your disembarkation day.
  2. This post has totally incorrect information. "Premium" has to do with location on the ship and has nothing to do with the interior design of the cabins. The only cabins on the Caribbean Princess that have a sofa are mini suites and full suites. No other cabin categories has a sofa. A mini suite for 4 will have a queen bed (option to split into two twins), a sofa and an upper berth that lowers from the ceiling over the sofa and parallel to the wall. There are 32 4 person, non connecting mini suites on deck 9, 6 fwd and 26 aft. All have 9ft x 6ft uncovered balconies. There are also 12 non connecting mini suites on deck 8 aft with covered balconies. The starboard ones are above a smoking area on deck 7. There is also the full suite option. Another option are the family suites, D105/6 on deck 9 fwd. A balcony category cabin for 4 will have two upper berths that lower from the ceiling and two lower twin beds one under each upper berth. The upper berths are stored during the day. A few balcony category cabins may have the option of a roll-away. The roll-away will be in the open space by the desk/fridge area leaving very little space to move around. The steward will store the roll-away during the day maybe in your open closet area, maybe in the open cabin area by the balcony door, or if you are lucky in the steward's work area.
  3. Here is an option for the poster. Assuming you are correct: Write a hard copy letter to the California Department of Consumer Affairs in Sacramento which details all payments, discussions, and current standing. Include hard copies of all disclaimers and legal fine print from your Princess booking, especially the print that shows or does not show that your deposit is not refundable. Send a copy of your letter with backup to the Princess legal department.
  4. Laundry is by the piece. T shirts one price, slacks another and so on. A typical bag of laundry with underwear, T shirts, PJs, pants is in the $50 range. There is a either same day or next day option which has a higher price. There are some restrictions when using the self service laundries in Alaska. Not exactly certain how it works.
  5. Believe this poster is thinking about embarkation (boarding). Latest disembarkation is usually around 9:30am. You are requested to leave your cabin by 8am and wait in one of the designated public areas.
  6. The frustration needs to be pointed to Princess and those that design the ships. The frustration should not be focused toward the passengers who are all there to have a nice vacation experience.
  7. I have never seen OBC split. To start each person receives their own OBC on their account. The splitting comes when the accounts are linked to a single credit card. In that situation there is a summary account which links all charges and nets the amounts against any summary debit or credit balance. To avoid the summary account each person needs to have their own credit card so the accounts are not linked.
  8. Possible that Princess just hasn't posted the deck names on the Sun deck plans.
  9. Cab or uber. Guessing you could also find private transfer on line.
  10. The bus will drop you off at one of the 3 terminals, A, B or C depending on what you tell the bus driver. Your plane ticket will indicate which terminal your plane departs from. Unless the bus is dedicated to a single airline you could ask to be dropped at any terminal. The terminals have 3 levels. Not certain exactly where the designated bus drop off location is at each of the terminals. After you are dropped off make your way to the taxi pick up level, which I think is ground level, there are signs, and take the short taxi ride to your hotel. Uber drivers are staged outside the airport along Rt 1/9. If you choose to use uber then you will have to wait until the car arrives.
  11. Decks have both names and numbers. Believe elevator buttons have numbers. No Princess ship has a deck 13. They all go from 12 to 14. A quick look at the deck plans before or after you board and you will not have any issues. There are also ship diagrams by each elevator. The screens will also provide you with and directional information.
  12. The ship will be docked at Red Hook cruise terminal in Brooklyn. You have to be out of your cabin by 8am. Princess transfer to Newark airport will probably depart around 9:30 or so. The bus ride is around 45 mins. Yes, if you take the transfer to the airport you will be stuck there from late morning until your 7pm flight. Here are some suggestions Take a disembarkation tour which will tour Manhattan and then drop you at the airport. Unless you are in 1st class where you can sleep, you will be extremely tired by the time you arrive back in the UK with the overnight red eye flight. Maybe you can change to a next day morning flight which arrives in the UK early evening, and stay overnight at a hotel at or near the airport. International flights depart from both Newark Liberty Airport and JFK Airport.
  13. I'm thinking you are booked on the Ruby. All mini suites will be on deck 9 and will be larger than a standard balcony cabin. The bathroom will have a tub/shower and will be a little larger than a standard balcony cabin. Mini suites also have a 3 seat sofa. A balcony cat. cabin only has one interior desk chair. All mini suites have a 9ft x 6ft uncovered balcony. Your Caribe deck balcony cabin will have a 9ft x 9ft balcony with 5ft of cover and 4ft uncovered. A Club Class (reserve class) mini suite is the same in size as a non club class mini suite. The main benefit is the club class dining. Not much else. You mention "Club Class Suite." Just a note. A Club Class mini suite is not a full suite. Passengers in a club class mini suite do not receive full suite benefits.
  14. If you intend to park at the pier then I would park at the terminal 2 garage. This garage is directly next to pier 2 when you disembark and you can be off and driving without any difficulty once you disembark.
  15. Reserve Collection Mini suite (formally Club Class mini suite) main benefit is the Club Class dining. That is the main benefit. Not much else is very important. Full Suite passengers also can dine in the club class section of the DR. and are eligible for the special full suite breakfasts. The special full suite breakfasts are one of the better benefits, way better than room service breakfasts. With the exception of the concierge lounge for full suite passengers, there are no special pools or lounging areas on the Enchanted Princess exclusive for full suite or mini suite passengers. All areas are open to all passengers. There is no Reserve Area on the Enchanted Princess. Not sure where you see this on the deck plans.
  16. Medallion - You keep the same one as long as the battery does noes not die. If it does die during the trip just go to passenger services to get a new one. Laundry should be open during turn around day. You will have two turn around days in Ft. Lauderdale. All passengers are required to go through immigration on these days. There are two options. In both cases read the instruction provided in your cabin and follow them exactly. Option 1) Disembark anytime after the disembarkation process has begun up until final call, around 9:30/10:00am Take your passport, medallion and intransit card with you. Go into town. Re-embark anytime after general boarding has begun, around 11:00 to noon. Option 2) Report to the designated location on the ship, usually the theater, at the time noted according to the instructions received in your cabin. You will be grouped together and escorted off the ship, through immigration and then back on the ship. If you are changing cabins speak with your cabin steward. The cabin steward will arrange the move and provide you with advice. OBC question has been answered. From experience, follow your on board accounts. Errors can happen. Cruises that are sold as b2bs, such as 10 day eastern/western Caribbean, tend to have very high numbers of b2bers. Your three cruises should not have very high numbers, but I would expect a few hundred at least.
  17. The outdoor movie is loud and dominates the vibe. Deck above the Lido Pool will have hot tubs and not very much noise. Retreat Pool is adults only. Quieter, but limited seating. Wake View Pool will be quieter. The Sanctuary offers private reserved lounges. There is a cost. Go there immediately on boarding to select your lounge. On a short tropical cruise The Sanctuary will be in high demand.
  18. There is no laundry "deal." Cost is according to the items being cleaned. A typical load of T's, shirts, underwear, PJs, shorts, slacks, socks, may cost around $50/$60 or so. Again the cost is by the item, not by the bag.
  19. Club Fusion is a venue that has activities. When there are events the bar is open. That bar isn't normally used for pre-dinner drinks. Suggest Adagio, or one of the mid ship locations such as the Wheelhouse, Crooners, Vines. Club Fusion may be used at that time for the P/E/Suite hour. Another location is Skywalker's if it isn't being used for the cocktail hour.
  20. Easy to bring along earplugs and a mask. Doubtful you will require them for noise or light outside the cabin. Except for the three full suites at the stern there are cabins above and below you. There are no entertainment venues in that area.
  21. Post #2 is correct. You can discuss with the cabin steward once on board. Maybe you can work something out.
  22. What ship? All ships schedule one DR open usually noon to 1:30 Almost all ships have an International Cafe, take away food to your table All ships have a buffet that will be open Royal Class ships have Alfredo's waiter served pizza and other menu items The Grand and Sapphire also have Alfedo's, pizza only. All ships have pools side grill and pizza by the slice(exception Majestic). Majestic has a noodle bar. Food items available on the app.
  23. No pre-booking of entertainment. If you purchase the premier fare then there are some reserved seats available for production shows.
  24. Royal class ships do not have the layer cake design like Grand class ships. Cabins with larger and angled balconies can be found on all decks 8 through 16. For comparison standard size balconies on the Regal are small, 9ft x 4ft. Search the deck plans at the site shown below. https://www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/ships/gp-regal-princess/
  25. Fairly certain that when purchasing soda in the MDR the waiter will pour it from a can, with no refills. Second soda = 2nd can and 2nd charge. Ice tea, hot tea, coffee, lemonade are no charge. Lemonade may only be at lunch.
