Just got a cabin assigned! Booked guarantee in a cove balcony and received a deluxe balcony on deck 17.

When you get off the free shuttle from the ship it’s literally the first store you see! I’m not sure of the name but you can’t miss it!

The two cabins my family/friends are in on the 19th also got the same moveover offer - if it were closer to home, I think they would have jumped at it but at this point there are way too many moving parts to even think about cancelling/rearranging. My teen flies today... One of the two cabins was booked as a guarantee since there were no rooms left to choose. Still no cabin assignment as of right now...

So, as a party of 4, is it possible/probable that you may each be sent to different elevators?

I'm not going....hence the stress and anxiety. I will be on NCL Bliss with my other kiddo. LOTS of moving parts that would have became a disaster had this been cancelled!

I was up at 3am EST to look at these - I would happily have booked any one of them, but was really eyeing the 11 day. I was ok with pricing - not as good as the last 3 I have sailed by a long shot, but better than the current one I booked for Feb 2025. Unfortunately, none of the dates quite lined up. I did consider switching my Feb 2025 for the 11 day, but I already stacked on some add-ons as well as a bunch of bonus bar tab and locked in a great price for my Miami hotel, so I didn't want to lose all that. Oh well. I will await the repositionings and see if things fall into place that way!

I have never not lived on a coast - need the ocean within walking distance. My house is an 8 minute walk to the port in Vancouver, so while I am ecstatic about the ability to walk to the ship, my bank balance is not!

I would be ecstatic if VV came to the West Coast. With the cost of airfare and the schlep across the country, it limits me to one (max 2) sailings a year on VV. If they were out West, I would sail every few months! I couldn't care less what the itineraries are - I just need to be on a ship!

My teen and family friends are on the March 19th sailing in a cove balcony. They just got the upgrade email (the other cabin they are travelling with booked a guarantee and no room assigned yet).

As someone that just did this, I will also tell you that NCL is VERY strict on their policy. You MUST have their form to provide at check in. Additionally, make sure you have an extra copy of the form - they kept our original at check in and when the teens went to register for teen club they were turned away as they also required the form there. I didn't have a copy and we had to wait until all of the documents were brought from check in back to the ship to get the original back - the teens were not pleased with me!

No, just Caribbean unfortunately. That's my only complaint. It's either Europe, Australia, or Caribebean with Virgin. They need to bring ships out West and do Hawaii, Mexico, and California Coast. I would literally sail every month! FWIW I don't think this is a product that would fare well for Alaskan itineraries...

As a former Princess loyalist I have converted to Virgin, too! I've sailed them twice and have a third booked, along with another future cruise certificate waiting to be used! My only "gripe" is that they don't sail from the West Coast - this adds a whole lot of expense to the trip when you factor in the flights and hotels on the East Coast!
