  1. Based on the title I thought the OP was wanting to cook their own rice based on a recent thread slamming the food.
  2. Agree. Speaking only for myself, no issues on any of the class of ships (M,S and E) we've been on. The latest was March on the Apex. Never had a problem hearing conversation or being heard with others, no matter the venue.
  3. Yes you are allowed. No different from embarkation on your first leg.
  4. They don't need to hear. Most communicate by texting. 😁
  5. Knock yourself out, but you still can't speak for me. 🙃
  6. Darn. I would have enjoyed cruising with you.🤣 This old fart is looking forward to all our future cruises with Celebrity. No matter the class of ship.
  7. Oh, what you've read it on CC. 😂 Maybe they use an uncalibrated app that measures dB (?). So you don't know actually what the dB is based on your experience. Your next cruise be sure to tell the band or entertainment director you don't like the music volume while standing there wearing your "Soundcore Q35 headphones in noise canceling mode". Hopefully you are noting all this on your PCS and not just CC. BTW, not all Harley or other motorcycle exhaust are created equally. What you find annoying is not annoying to others. I'd explain it to ya, but you still wouldn't understand.
  8. Agree the hearing aids do help with managing tinnitus. Technology for them has come a long way (size, fit, adjustments) compared to earlier models. Remove your hearing aids or turn them down or off. Depending what I'm doing I adjust them.
  9. Believe me I know exactly what it's like living with tinnitus. I've been living with it for over 53 years. I've learned to live with it. No and provide your source that the 90 dB rating is at all venues. I don't buy it. I also ride a Harley Davidson and still play the drums.
  10. No savings on our two future cruises but thanks to @Boscodog for starting this thread as it prompted me to check out our future Princess cruise. Saved a nice chuck of change for that cruise. 🤑
  11. Yes plus some hearing loss. Both from an mortar explosion when I was 18 years old. I also wear hearing aids.
  12. Not everyone! I (we) prefer to listen to what Celebrity's is playing at the different venues.
  13. "You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time”.
  14. Agree. I'd end up knocking myself out or giving myself a blackeye pulling out the cork.
  15. Gratuities are also covered with the AI package or do prepaid gratuities and are paid automatically. Don't assume.
  16. I always carry a corkscrew in our checked luggage. It also has a 1.25" knife style foil cutter. No issues.
  17. There is a WCB on deck 5 according to the deck plan on Celebrity's website.
  18. We'll wait until we are on the ship and after the cruise before making any decisions. Our March Apex cruise was great. 😍🍷
  19. Hopefully between now and our October Eclipse cruise Celebrity will have reconsidered and brought back the classics, Hopefully those cruising will voice their displeasure either directly while on the ship and thru their PCS. We will if the classics are still MIA.
  20. All boils down to personal preferences.
  21. Personal preference. I stay disconnected so it wouldn't be worth it to me. You decide.
  22. You may also consider asking your question on the Ports Of Call forum.
