I don't blame the smoker, vaper or midnight toker smoking in the smoking lounge, aka casino. They are only doing what RC allows them to do. Ok, not the toker. I blame RC for allowing it.
Thanks for posting the picture. First I've seen our DPV stateroom from the outside. We'll be on the Apex in March. Looking forward to the ship, stateroom and itinerary.
I'll drink to that. 🍻 Years ago I had issues with kidney stones. My doctor asked if I was drinking plenty of fluids. Me, yes. Doctor, water. Me, is beer and wine considered water. Doctor, noooo!! I know drink a lot more water.
It won't be long.
I started smoking in 1965 (quit in January 1991 and it wasn't even a New Year resolution) and at that time cigarette packs didn't have the warning on them yet of the dangers of smoking.
Just asked my friend Google and she said in 1969 Congress passed the Public Health Cigarette Smoking Act which prohibited cigarette advertising on television and radio and required that each cigarette package contain the label “Warning: The Surgeon General Has Determined That Cigarette Smoking Is Dangerous to Your Health.”
I (we) haven't looked at the MDR app yet for our March Apex cruise and don't intend to even with all this chatter on CC. We don't even stop by to look at the posted menu outside of the MDR for that evening. We wait until we are seated with menu in hand to decide while enjoying a glass of wine. Still plan on a five course meal.
BTW, I'm not buying the line, "room attendant even saw her do it and he said as long as she doesn’t do it anywhere else like on the balcony shell be fine"!!!!
Over the years I've come across some good info shared by a few here on CC. Some are still on CC and some have cruised on. But we would never book or not book a cruise line, itinerary, ship, etc. based on someone's positive or negative opinions or experiences. No matter the cruise line forum. What's said on CC stays on CC.
