  1. Interesting, for 24 large Evian price would be typical. If it's the smaller cheaper Brands thats a lot. Paid $20.04 for the 24 pack the cheaper ones on Fall 2022 then last month same $20.04 for 24ct for a couple Cruises Fall 2023
  2. I use to have them pressed before Cruise, last yr Royals offered pressing at pretty good price. Did 12 Shirts for less then $30. I just bring them clean and send out to be pressed, back in about 18hrs before Dinner on second Day
  3. I've been carrying on Diet Dew for 30yrs, last 10yrs its been 12count of 16.9oz bottles. They fit perfect in bottom of my Back Pack. That was one thing liked about NCL was Vending machines with same bottles of Pepsi products to purchase
  4. True, good old cold garden hose water in Summertime Heat. Where I live now water never comes out Cool or Cold, miss my Michigan ground filtered water. Where I grew up water we use to Drink became one first Superfund Sites, City had shutdown all Wells in that area. Nothing could do but Cap it off as the Bloom was too large. Dump had Century of waste(chemicals/oils) from 100+ Factories/Businesses.
  5. Shoot some days on a Cruise I'll had had on 3 different pair. After a workout/Run and Shower in am, after a day in Port and Shower, I am not putting anything but another clean pair on
  6. Yeah I like the Evian, drinking it as I type. Last March/April on different Royal Cruises got it in 12oz cans, then 1lt Glass and Plastic Bottles. Though in dozen Cruises since only different branded small plastic water bottles. But I'll take about anything over Desani, too me(and others) has a metal taste like a dirty Nickle is in it
  7. People forget Ships were just as empty after 9/11 as 2021 startup and prices were cheaper then. But most longer Cruises that I have Booked this yr and in 2024 are reasonable compared to pre-CV and are even cheaper then what were in 2017-2018
  8. Been carrying on Diet Mt Dew for 3 Decades myself. Few times at check in they were even counting my 12 16.9oz bottles and other's in line that had Wine. One Couple had 4 Bottles, they threw 2 away before getting done with Security and Boarding. Not always but did happen at least once in Boston, Tampa, Ft Lauderdale.
  9. First did Freestyle on NCL 23+ yrs ago. My next Cruises on Royal have 6:45pm for MTD as usual, Early Main Dining at 5pm and 5:30pm
  10. Agree, for months was usually a Cruise or 2 running $99-$129(plus Tax). Cheapest I Booked was right after 9/11 when they were giving Cruises away get people to return. A 5nite in OV for $9ea +Tax
  11. That's the tough part with me, Airfare, I currently have 11 one way Flights already purchased for May-Oct with 3 more to get for Nov-Dec
  12. Lucky you. For a Decade did Boston-Florida, doing reverse this Sept. But no starting 20+ yrs ago started taking my then 2-8 yr olds for yrs. Kool thing at time was Royal gave a pager while my Kids were in the program incase I was needed. Was good thing as a Single Parent with 3 Kids onboard. But yeah been since at least 90's was on a 100% Full ship and at least 20+ yrs had more then 50 Kids onboard
  13. The old saying Cruiser's are the Newlywed's and Nearly Deads. My sailings typically have 10-50 Kids at most. Last 10yrs me at 47-57 usually only 30% younger then me onboard. This as my Cruises are 10+ niters, Repo's, PC, and Fall-mid Dec Cruises on Radiance Class. Haven't been even on a Ship near 100% Capacity or over like most Royal Ships average in at least 20+ yrs.
  14. Agree. Staff even said, "Sure you don't want to use the Elevator" When they were getting on I made sure I wasn't below them, grateful I did
  15. Was on Jewel last yr out of Miami where Family decided Carry Luggage on the Escalator. After rolling over top each other they ended up riding in an Ambulance to the Hospital
  16. Yes, does Mariner even have a Splash Pad for Swim Diapered Kids, list I read said Ship does not. Anyone confirm? Sign lists standing water at 1.5 inch's deep on Ships that do have Pad.
  17. Yup, that's our experience, Grand Daughters Pullman stayed down whole Cruise over top my Daughter/SIL double bed. Now when my Kids were young 20-25yrs ago we'd stay in an OV, split the Double Bed into Singles and with Pullmans down Cabin was set up like 2 sets of Bunk Beds. Helped with space also with 5 of us in a Vision Class OV Cabin
  18. Ships that have a splash pad for babies in diapers: Oasis Class Wonder of the Seas Oasis of the Seas Harmony of the Seas Symphony of the Seas Allure of the Seas (this ship has an H20 zone, not the updated Splashaway Bay with slides. Depending on your child needs, this may be perfectly fine) Freedom Class Freedom of the Seas Independence of the Seas Liberty of the Seas Quantum Class Ovation of the Seas Anthem of the Seas Odyssey of the Seas Spectrum of the Seas Quantum of the Seas Majesty of the Seas Navigator of the Seas
  19. If actual Navigator Pic then yes and its the smallest Triangle Front. No Spray Toys like other sections, tall glassed in from other sections and water 1.5 inchs deep. Just enough sit, crawl in safely. Only kids in Diapers in it, no older Siblings and must be accompanied by Adult.
  20. Hope having a Great Cruise/Cruises. Almost Booked your same B3B on her. But Building new House and est Date completion was 1Apr-1May. Did Jewel for B4B last March-April. At time was one the Cleanest Ships ever been on. Older or Dated I can live with, long as everything is Clean...no complaints
  21. Yup, 13 Sailings on 3 Ships last 11 Months, all but 3 were 2pm on the Door, one was 1pm and others were 130. Though several sailings they said 2 but announcement was made Cabins ready early, this between 125-145. That said even Pre-CV seems like I always had the Sailing where they were doing Deep Clean, Inspections or replacing Mattresses or Balcony Chairs. These would cause late 130-2pm on about half my Cruises. Furniture replacement took all 3-4 legs my Cruises, this as they'd do couple Decks each week
  22. Thank you for continued service. Many of us achieve much due to at least one Great Teacher.
  23. True, though many 11-12yr olds look like 17-18yr olds but still can act like 2yr olds. 20yrs ago took my 12, 7 and 4yr olds on Cruise. Many onboard thought my 12yr old Daughter was my Wife! Kids/Teens look lot older then when I was growing up. My Kids started Cruising back there was no KSF and over 1/3 the yr it cost more for 3rd-4th passengers then first and second
