  1. There is a different range of charged cocktails served in each bar, with the Onward Atlas Bar cocktails being served in the Den on the other ships. If you have the Ultimate beverage package these cocktails are included. My favourite was the Berry Berry Gin served in the living room (gin, chambord, lemon juice & sugar syrup),
  2. On Our Quest cruise we were able to order an off menu soufflé for dessert in the speciality restaurants with 48 hours notice. Choices were Grand Marnier, Limoncello, Cappucino. The one on the menu was Hazelnut.
  3. I guess at the moment they are tied in to the RCCL systems and can’t yet do anything ‘standalone’. Can you pay for RCCL cruises online?
  4. Ou will certainly stop at a hop as that is T out by the Turkish government that all tour companies have to do that. Overall we have found that on Azamara buses are rarely full and group sizes seem to be 20 -25.
  5. I know there have been some issues with supplies. We have just come off the Quest and most of the drinks in the Ultimate Package were available. The champagne was a bit of a disappointment - no Nicholas Feuillette - replacement was Montaudon - not so nice, but there was Domaine Chandon which was fine. I really enjoyed trying all the new cocktails - different in every bar. I think I tried all the Gin & Vodka based ones. Berry Berry Gin in the Living Room was my favourite. We did have Whispering Angel and drank that most nights. All the other wines on the list were available too. If I had bought the package and found many items not available, I’d have asked to speak to the F &B Manager and asked to cancel the package and get my money back.
  6. If you’re planning to go to a mosque in the Middle East, make sure, if you’re female, that your arms and legs are completely covered. When we went to the mosque in Muscat on our Azamara cruise recently one lady in our group had to borrow her husbands socks to cover the bottom part of her legs as she was wearing cropped trousers. Another couple of ladies had to borrow shirts, one from her husband who luckily had a T-shirt underneath and one from my husband as he had a shirt in his bag in case he was told to cover up. One lady had to hire a full length gown. We all had to have our hair completely covered too.
  7. Did you look at the spreadsheet which does exactly that https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15Deg-GaeZYLml8NN3PVwoh_jUkQ8QmYUe1wxnVAlODE/edit
  8. Quest now Captain Jonas Lyddby Staff Captain Divo Bosolt Hotel Director Ryszard Gusman Cruise Director Amanda Poulson Exec Chef Zarko Lukic Asst Cruise Director Tanya Roberts
  9. Quite agree. On Quest now the main tonic is Royal Club or Canadian if you want a sugar free version. Schweppes is available, but you have to ask for it. I did find a bottle of Britvic tonic at the Pool Bar which was OK. I put a heartfelt plea in my halfway feedback asking them to ditch Royal Club. I got a phone call assuring me that they would make sure Schweppes was available all the bars.
  10. You can buy the Indulgence package before the cruise. We bought it six months before the cruise we are currently on. The $700 Excursions OBC showed up straight away in our Voyage Planner and we were able to use it to book all our excursions for the cruise.
  11. As I posted above I am onboard. I haven’t got a tape measure, but I’m about 5foot 9 inched (69 inches). I laid across the bed and just about exactly fitted from one side to the other, so the bed is 69 inches wide give or take an inch.
  12. Your TA generated OBC probably won’t show up on your account until you board shan’t be used to book excursions. However you could book excursions you really want to do, paying by card, then cancel once aboard then immediately rebook using the OBC ( so long as you cancel 48 hours before the excursion).
  13. Yes, they tend to ask for stateroom number more.
  14. We ‘re having a great cruise thanks Cruiser Nonna. Azamara is just as good as ever! Thanks for the information, it’s all added.
  15. I think I’d agree with you. If it’s better wines you want, then it’s probably better to buy a wine package. Certainly we have enjoyed the cocktails and the sprits. It’s interesting that on Quest each bar has a different list of special cocktails. I’m trying as many of the gin & vodka based ones as I can - all very nice so far.
  16. In a group of 10 of us, so far the Merlot was not available, but everything else we’ve asked for was available.
  17. Here’s the Ultimate Beverage list for the Quest now
  18. We boarded a few days ago in Athens. The earliest time offered was 2pm. We arrived at the terminal at about 1:45 and were onboard by 3ish. Windows buffet & the Patio we’re open.
  19. Yes, there was a waiter there circulating with sparkling wine & with orange juice.
  20. I’d go for the second option - butlers only in the Ocean and Owners suites. However I would like to see better trading for cabin attendants too. I know you mentioned that you had had issues with yours recently - ours on this cruise is not the best - no tote bag, laundry bags or dressing gowns in the cabin & I had to ask several times to get them!
  21. For me the whole idea of having a butler would be a disincentive. !
  22. On our current cruise (Athens to Dubai) customer relations have euros.
  23. Going back to the original point about an upgrade to a CC Suite, surely the main advantage is having a cabin that is 50% bigger than standard cabins, with a nicer and larger bathroom!
