We stayed at Hyatt Centric Waikiki beach. Excellent location - walk to everything including beach. The hotel is nice, clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides beach chairs which is nice. We would definitely stay there again. It is not beachfront - a few blocks off the beach.

Yes, it's really good. One of the best we've had lately on a cruise.

We did Pearl Harbor on our own. We bought tickets online as you need to reserve them. They weren't much, maybe a few dollars each. The ferry takes you out to the USS Arizona floating memorial. P.S. if you go, don't bring a bag or purse or they will make you check it for a $7 fee. :(

Our first time to Hawaii and it was fabulous! It was me and my husband. We are in our early 50s. Ship is in really good condition and even though it's a smaller ship, we didn't really notice because we were so busy at the ports. We did feel a lot of motion but it does not bother us. We flew in 2 days prior and stayed near Waikiki beach. Went to Pearl Harbor and also hiked Diamond Head and spent some time at the beach watching all of the surfers! Ports Maui day 1 - Healakala crater - beautiful! We had a clear day so the views were amazing. Maui day 2 - went to a beach (can't remember the name). Saw 9 big turtles on the beach. So fun! Hilo - Volcanoes National Park. It was a little rainy at times but still a great day seeing the crater! Kona - Big Island snorkel tour. Saw whales, a shark, dolphins, and a cute sea turtle. Great tour! Expensive but worth it! Kauai day 1 - Luau Kalamaku. Amazing and fun time! Definitely a must do! We did premium seating and it was worth it. We were right in front. Kauai day 2 - Wimea Canyon. Beautiful! We had a clear day so we had amazing views! We did not see any shows but we watched a lot of music and hung out at the bars in the evenings. We were too tired to go to the shows. Lol 😂 We can't wait to go back to Hawaii again!! If anyone has specific questions let me know!

This is great news! I am excited to sail out of Jacksonville. We have never done it since Carnival only has their smaller, older ship there. Can't wait to check out itineraries and prices soon!

Thank you for sharing your vacation with us! We just got off Mardi Gras last weekend and we can't wait to get back on this class of ship again. We love all the bars and restaurants! My husband had that bubble drink at the Fortune Teller and it's pretty cool.

Departed a little after 9pm Saturday due to a fuel delay. Very strange to leave the port at that time of day. Not used to that. It is me, my husband and his sister and her husband. We are all in our 50s. It is our 14th cruise and their first. We love traveling together as couples. We get along well and have so many good laughs together. They finally decided to join us on a cruise and they are really enjoying it. We are loving the ship. Excellent dining and bars. Weather could be better but can't control that. Seas have been choppy and it's been so windy. Gusty winds today. Today was warm and sunny but windy! We have a balcony on deck 12 and they have an inside cabin on the same deck Honestly we're hardly in our room that an inside cabin is usually fine for us but we booked this awhile back when Carnival was offering so many deals to get on their ships after covid. We've had 2 days at sea and now tomorrow we are in San Juan, then Amber Cove, and Grand Turk. No big plans in any of the ports. Any questions, let me know. I have saved the Fun Times.

If you really want to make it to gold, then I suggest the Horizon. Great ship and itinerary! Worth the flight. Check into flights into FLL because sometimes it can be much cheaper than Miami.

We like both Carnival and Norwegian. I do like that Norwegian includes the drink package and a few other extras. Nowadays with Carnival's pricing, it is less expensive to sail on Norwegian so we are leaning more towards them. We are going on our last "great deal" cruise on Carnival this weekend on the Mardi Gras. We booked four cruises back in 2022 when they were begging people to cruise. Now, Carnival's prices are so much higher when you start factoring in Cheers, wifi, specialty dining, etc. Enjoy your cruise! We like their ships!

They got their butts kicked! Excited to watch my Packers play the 49ers next weekend on the Mardi Gras. Even though their chances are slim, I'm excited for them!!
