  1. Can anyone see the itinerary on this cruise (or ANY cruise for that matter)? When we click on DETAILS on the website, it shows a map of the cruise, but unable to scroll down to see each stop, and any info about the stops, such as hours there, days at sea, etc. THis is the case for every itinerary. Also, I am unable to search any months once a pick a month to search for cruises. Only that initial month or months I chose will be searched, even if I pick other months. That Hawaii cruise might be interesting, but would like to know the "DETAILS." Is it a Mac thing, maybe, that their website is pretty close to unusable on a Mac? Agree with you abt Sea days as a great way to judge a cruise, and we do love sea days. But we cannot determine IF there will be lecturers, trivia, or what other activities on sae days.
  2. Your messaging here is disabled. I don't think mine is, so send me a message here.
  3. Although I am unable to log on to my account, I can go to the cruise we booked (Sept 9 Iceland to NY) and see the excursions. Very limited information; certainly not enough to make a decision on which ones to do. Are the descriptions more detailed when one actually logs on to their account? I've tried multiple times using the email & PW that is saved on my computer, and I;ve tried many many PW's that I would normally use, but none work. I've clicked on "forgot password" link on multiple occasions to get a link sent to me to reset PW, but no link has ever been sent. Yes, I looked in my spam folder as well. I spoke with them back in January & they supposedly "fixed" whatever issue there was so I could sign on. Nope. Very disheartened by this. Hope the onboard experience is significantly better than the online experience.
  4. We settle into somewhat of a routine that sometimes doesn't allow for meeting others. Sorry we didn't get together. Warning for when you come to Sarasota: I've been here since 2010 and have never seen traffic so terrible! Tonight on Main street the traffic was backed up for blocks trying to get into the parking garage. But it did thin out by around 7:30. Likewise, traveling on 41 any time during the day is bumper to bumper. I'm glad I can walk to lots of places. Do you have O's tix? Which games? I'm hoping to go to a game or two.
  5. Enjoy your 2nd week. Wish we were still on as we were having a wonderful time. I agree with you that the weather was good. There was one area of the ship that really excelled, but I rarely saw anyone partake: GINO up in the Observation Lounge after the evening show. There were usually no more than about 15 or so people up there. He is tremendous! I felt bad that he was performing to so few people. The only really bad part was that we got to watch the Eagles lose! 😞
  6. Packed. 😞 Cruise over tomorrow, after one more night of food & fun. Overall it was a terrific cruise. Entertainment was excellent. Service terrific ( except for our particular cabin attendant). Ship itself was wonderful. Food varied from bad( veal dishes generally) to excellent. One issue they need to work on is provisioning. Were out of way too many things. For example, surprised last night at Prime 7 when I ordered the Prime Rib, and was told “ we are out of that.” No Prime Rib in a steak house? They were also out of Four bourbons on the printed menu, and very short on vodkas as well.
  7. I’ve been involved on both sides of non-competes, and this is a good analysis. When it comes to sales, very very difficult to enforce. IF they can prove there actually were Trade Secrets, AND SS took all reasonable efforts to protect these TS’s then there is some chance that they can be successful but only for a very limited time. In my past experience, we were succesful only once in protecting a customer list. I recall one time in which the other side testified that “all the customers are in the phone book” and the Judge bought that! That shows how disliked NC agreements are by the Judiciary. I also found that many , if not most, people do not even realize they signed a NC agreement. We required our new employees to sign a separate acknowledgement of the NC clause.
  8. It's a beautiful Island. Took a private tour today all around the various neighborhoods, seeing the architecture, public art, flamingos, etc. As you said, FLY EAGLES FLY! 4 Hours!
  9. Seems they may be having a VEAL issue onboard, as there are issues with Veal CHop, Veal Marsala, and Veal Scallopine. Maybe we'll stick to fish.
  10. Must be a case of "FOOTBALL FEVER?" Yesterday we were in Aruba! 🙂 BIG GAME TONIGHT to cheer on our Iggles! FLY EAGLES FLY! 27-23 Eagles! GO BIRDS!!!
  11. GoBirds!! Fly Eagles Fly! I understand we’ll be having quite the Superbowl party onboard. Can’t wait! Looking out at clear blue waters now, and able to walk in a straight line for the first time in 2 days! 🙂
  12. Yes - we’re on aruba tour to ostrich farm, and on sunday will be at super bowl party ( i assume they are having one) wearing my eagles cap and “It’s a Philly Thing” T shirt at the party.
  13. Interesting. Is it possible these days with the TSA rules to book a cruise this late? I know it used to be that people would drive to the port & find a cruise to get on. I didn't think such was possible anymore. IF you join, we'll see you onboard!
  14. One of the great things that Crystal did, but I don't think other lines did, is to actually post on the webpages who the entertainment, enrichment, and ship's officers, will be. I hope they bring that back again. Along with the terrific entertainers & lecturers.
  15. I am aware of one group that will be on that 7 day portion. My former TA is escorting a group. I don't believe they will be any "trouble" like that insurance group mentioned above, but they may take up some venues with a private party or two.
  16. For those driving, If I recall correctly, J is the easiest to get to, and there is a large parking garage right there. But as it departs on a Wednesday, most parking spaces are likely to be taken by the weekend to weekend crowd.
  17. One of the Best, and most appropriate, typos ever: A New Crystal will grow from its SAPLING! 😄
  18. Well, usually you get a hot towel at most Japanese restaurants. So the rain shower instead would certainly make it stand out.
  19. One of the 1st things we noticed, also on Serenity. Not surprising though, since they went in that direction when they added the newer Penthouses a few years ago. Wondering how much hanging space there will be in the closet, and hard to tell how many drawers in the closet.
  20. EAGLES going to the Super Bowl! Now I am even more hopeful that it will be shown in the ship; a nice Super Bowl party!
