  1. Another sunrise from my 2016 Crystal Symphony cruise from Buenos Aires to Miami. February 10 was a sea day from Punta Arenas to Puerto Montt: Roy

  3. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Ann, Paul, and Eva. Great job Vanessa on a year with the lists, and thank you to Sandi for covering for me my first days after being hospitalized. Happy CC anniversary @cunnorl. Happy Birthday @Haljo1935, Hats off to the New York Times. I think I'll pass on the other 2 days. I do kind of wish I could start living my ages backwards. I have not been to Muroran. February 10 has been quite an eventful day over the years. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Chilled Coconut and Nutmeg Soup, Chicken and Wild Rice Soup, and Pomenegranate Glazed Cornish Game Hen as served on MS Zaandam February 10, 2012. It's been a crazy week with a number of changes at church and especially the cutover to a new implementation of the AV and streaming system. I was supposed to be at the controls tomorrow but now the 2 leaders of the team will do it and I will try to find a quiet place somewhere outside the room to monitor the service and alert the team of any problems I see. We had a long training session with the contractor last night and a practice session this morning. After that I had to do some work at the fire house for our directors meeting Monday, so I'm way behind at things. Roy
  4. Very nice toots from Nieuw Amsterdam. Thanks Dave, Leanne, and fellow addicts. Roy
  5. Today's map. A very busy morning. Not sure when I will post again.' Roy
  6. I'd be inclined to take a more conserative approach. I'm just thinking it could be a spoof intended to trap a helpful person into replying into a copycat web site loaded with malwear. If I was SURE it actually came from Board24 but what I would do is print it to PDF and send it to an address I was sure was legitimate. It looks like contact@board24.co.uk should be safe. Roy
  7. The European ship is Marella Discovery, originally RCI's Splendor of the Seas. It is one of 6 Vision Class ships, and I have sailed her twins several times, Roy
  8. Today's sunrise is from my 2016 Crystal Symphony cruise from Buenos Aires to Miami via Antarctica. On February 9 we were due to visit Punta Arenas but were unable to dock due to the wind: Roy

  10. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Ann, Eva, and Paul. I think I'll pass on the days today unless biking to school as a kid counts as work. I like the quote. Two great days in history with a UK/US relationship involved both times. I have been to St. Peter Port twice, 2015 on Prinsendam and 2019 on Queen Mary 2. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Chilled Coconut and Nutmeg Soup, Chicken and Wild Rice Soup, and Pomenegranate Glazed Cornish Game Hen as served on MS Zaandam February 9, 2012. A split away day today. Wegmans run in the morning then AV practice at church this evening. Roy
  11. I know some people say the big ship is missing the point of actually being on Antarctica, I am thankful that I went on an expedition ship once when I was younger, but have been back twice for "drive by's" (Crystal Symphony in 2016 and Prinsendam) and felt like I got about 95% of the experience for perhaps half the price, and would love to go again. Roy
  12. I just looked at my calendar and noticed today I was supposed to have boarded Cunard's Queen Anne in Fort Lauderdale. That's Cunard's equivalent of Rotterdam 7. I would not have been in a position to take the cruise but in any case I don't think the ship has even gotten to the stage of sea trials yet. Roy
  13. And I can guarantee as there that whatever Crystal does somebody will say it was wrong and/or not enough. Roy
  14. Today's sunrise is from my 2015 Maasdam cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Rio. February 8 was a sea day from Belem to Recife: Roy

  16. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Paul, Eva, and Ann for the Fleet Report and Daily. I like all the day's days, especially Boy Scout Anniversary Day which is now "Scouts, BSA" which is almost fully coed except that in the 11-18 group there are boys troops and girls troops. My Fire Department sponsors a boy's troop, a girls troop and a coed Cub pack. Not convinced on the quote. Newton was a true genius. I visited Catania just once, way back in 2010 on Crystal Serenity. I think I’ll pass on the meal. My alternative is Pineapple, Banana, and Mango Compote, Crepinette of Roasted Chicken, and Peach Crisp as served on MS Prinsendam February 8, 2019. I will be less active on the Daily for a few days. My church is upgrading our livestreaming equipment and I have training on the new equipment tomorrow and practice Saturday morning. In the meantime I am watching a lot of videos on the new equipment. Bon Voyage @Lady Hudson. Glad to hear @smitty34877 got some help; hoping something can be done for Tana. Roy
  17. So relieved to hear this. Thank you for letting us know. Bon Voyage! Roy
  18. @marshhawk was able to fix her photo so I'm deleting my try. Roy
  19. Another sunrise today from the 2020 Crystal World Cruise. On February 7 Crystal Serenity was at sea from Raiatea to Lautoka. Roy

  21. Happy Hump Day. Thank you Rich, Jacqui, Vanessa, Eva, Paul, and Ann, Ann, @cat shepard if you're willing to specify, are you sailing on NCL Escape? The icon for their ships is pretty unique which makes them a little easier to include than Azamera, Oceania, and RCI which look pretty much alike on Cruisemapper. I'll celebrate e-day which is Euler's number which is the basis for natural logarithms, the constant that made slide rules possible. I'll also salute both School Plays and Ballet. I'm kind of surprised there were no secret ballots before 1856. I wonder in New York had an anthem before 1985. Been to St. Thomas several times (No sure about a BHB) and may be one of a relatively few dailyites to embark/disembark there. If I have time there may be a story later. I'll pass on the meal. My alternative is Chilled Blueberry Soup, Mixed Seasonal Greens, and Duck Breast a l'orange as served on MS Zaandam February 7, 2012 A cold morning today but less wind so it didn't feel quite as cold as yesterday. Roy
