  2. You don't NEED to scan/answer it, we ignore it and we still get issues luggage tags. They do have a printout/insert that shares disembarkation. The only thing that QR code could be useful for is signing up for a transfer if there's one available
  3. Today's first world problem! This is just a FYI/datapoint, nothing more: Call the BCC, says 20-30mins to wait on hold, offers for them to call me back, only AFTER the call back service is accepted did they state that the expected call back time is 1H10mins which interferes with the some plans. Call back hoping to be on hold no more than 30mins, says expected wait is still 20-30mins, I reject the call me back option, once in the hold queue it now says "your expected wait time is approximately 6mins". Actual wait time was 8mins which was pretty accurate Moral of the story, if you call the BCC and there's a wait, consider not using the call me back service and waiting on hold to hear how long the actual wait time is

  5. Thanks! X still serves the lesser/cheaper Spiny/warm-water lobster while both Carnival and RcI upgraded to Maine lobster, ask if X has considered switching to Maine so it no longer serves inferior lobster to Carnival
  6. I think everyone should bring their phone everywhere for both emergency purpose and in case one encounters an unexpected incident they would always have a camera/video nearby
  7. I wonder how they’re obtaining feedback, are there new menu specific questions added to the post sailing survey? When RCI started charging for the second lobster tail, they said they’re listening to their customers yet still deployed the fee fleet wide…How many customers were saying “I love that fee!” Or “I booked another RCI cruise on board solely because of the fee!”

  9. It was apparently only offered on two nights..."Cheeseburger" is for lunch and isn't new, "Double Cheeseburger" is for dinner and is new...There are screenshots of the Double Cheeseburger appearing on the dinner menu if you care to review older posts

  11. The reservation software they use isn't good to begin with but it's clear in your cancelation experience, no one updated the call center reps software which is a big mistake
  12. Mostly agree; its really about simple math which is to fill up the suites. Age, status, etc, is all secondary. Specifically with status, they give you the benefits they think you entitled to with the Captains club, nothing more, nothing less
  13. Remember, you can order your usual entrees and add a burger. I've had it at Blu before, it's a tick above average and far better than the mast grill/buffet patties 😄

  15. There are still deals to be had the best redemptions being for international business airfare where you can still receive $5000 cash price seat for $1000 in points. It takes some work but once you learn how, it's pretty easy. Quick rundown is you find out when the airline releases saver award space, find the flight you want, call the airline to put the seat on a courtesy hold, transfer your credit card points to a partner airline with more favorable redemptions and book your held seat. The much easier way to redeem points is with Hyatt as they still have favorable redemptions. As you can see in the pic below, three different examples hotels with wildly different cash prices vs amount of points; the top hotel in the image would be the most favorable redemption and the middle would be the worst

  18. Thanks for the datapoint. My opinion is that they should allow more bottles because so many have AI or can utilize the Elite happy hour. The more bottles they allow you to carry, the less "free" wine they need to pour
  19. Thanks for trying and that's what I thought about the lobster, leadership doesn't even know they're serving lobster that's lesser than what Carnival offers
