  1. Nothing out of the ordinary (other than the buffet washing stations) than at home. So, nothing special at all. Nothing happened. Not anymore concerned on a ship than elsewhere. I'd be more concerned on an airplane, but nothing special done there either.
  2. Not what the OP ordered. I don't think O'Malley's works any different than Salty Dog Gastro Pub.
  3. And why is that problem if you have a low price and it is not too far until it would be ticketed anyway? BTW, it is ticketing that changes the EZair status from Flexible.
  4. I don't see why the port of embarkation should matter. It is PCL crew that mans the wine table and assesses any corkage due - if the table is manned when you pass by of course. Should be no problem if you can show them you are on multiple legs.
  5. Yes, BC pretty much always gets you seat selection. Should be free as well, with BA being the exception I am aware of. Often Premium Economy is the same.
  6. OTOH, once get close to flight date, quite unlikely to see such a fare drop.
  7. Go into Ez-Air via Cruise Personalizer and request Early Ticketing.
  8. Post #8 is a good answer, but try this on for size. In Fall 2022, we disembarked in Messina, Italy, (Sicily) rather than ride the ship back to Naples and finally to Civitavecchia where we had a gap of three or four days until our next voyage on another ship. We spent five days touring around Sicily, which is not all that easy to get to and would require another overseas trip or a deviation from a land trip we might do another time. Sure, we didn't use the final night on the ship, but we saved a bundle on travel costs. Even if we flew down from Civi (Rome airport) after the cruise, not only would two extra one-way airfares be required, but we would have had insufficient time in Sicily. At the end we flew from Catania back to Rome and then out to Civi for out next voyage. We were still in Civi the night before the cruise.
  9. Love WhatsApp. Video calling is great option.
  10. What I meant was that simply booking in DMW does not get you the same assigned table location each night of the voyage.
  11. PCL reminds guests in the welcome aboard sheet left in each cabin.
  12. We have had two of these approved without issue. The first one never happened though because voyage was canceled during Covid pause.
  13. You will not have an assigned table unless you make a request to DR Host or DR Mgr and they confirm they can block you in to one.
  14. <I see there is an explanation for this on page 2 and I had responded when seeing post on page 1>
  15. <withdrawn - question was answered earlier>
  16. Not sure I see the correlation as reduced choices via Ocean Now affects all guests.
  17. Most certainly a "doable" flight. Ez-Air is unfortunately overly conservative. You will need to book with airline(s) directly for the return. You can always use Ez-Air to book a one-way to the port if the pricing is better. (Often folks report not saving much domestically using Ez-Air with the main advantage being the flexibility to make changes).
  18. With Princess, there is always exceptions to the general "rules" and nothing much is absolute.
  19. My understanding is that the Ocean Now menu choices in the food section are reduced from what they used to be say 6mths or more ago??? Perhaps it was them increasing the choices during and exiting the pandemic and since they added charges for Casual Dining and the new CD menus, it appears to me that the ON food choices have been cut back. This is gleaned from various posts and such.
  20. To be clear, the DR's are walk-UP. If you do not have a pre-arranged table, you do not walk-IN. Only those in Reserve Dining usually walk right in and those who have pre-arranged set table/time with same waiters each night.
  21. I think you may be asking about single days. The cost is $30/day, so $15/day with the discount. This is for ad hoc days you sign up for day-at-a-time. $12.50/day net is the price when booking whole voyage. It also seems if you started on, say, day 4 of a 10 day, then they charge the $12.50 rate for the balance of the voyage.
  22. You can recover as OBC on board. Less hassle than the phone I expect.
  23. On our last voyages, we settled in with the same fellow at breakfast and it was great.
  24. Makes sense as the number of true Greens would be rather miniscule compared to the whole ship of guests.
