  1. UGH!!! This is completely unfair to Suite guests and Elite guests. (Just had an idea.... perhaps might just have an old Medallion kicking around to get by the security area).
  2. Yup. Need a chair? Take a chair. Lots of obvious ones to choose from if it comes to that.
  3. I think most dedicated steakhouses could be saddled with that statement. Just depends what one is out for. The cost of a top end restaurant steak is so crazy now, I tend to look for other food choices and bypass steakhouses. I buy top end grass-fed (sometimes organic) beef and grill at home which ends up restaurant quality steak to me and save money while still spending significant bucks on the meat. But I still like me a good steak on the ship. I was just disappointed last Fall, but maybe they have picked up the game by now.
  4. I would say you could do that because you booked PE for the overseas flight. But IDK for certain. IOW, you booked PE cabin which is up form Economy.
  5. To get those, it is airline website seat selection and may need to pay extra. Agree with your other notes as one can book true Premium Economy with a lot of airlines using EzAir.
  6. It is too bad PCL doesn't allow/provide an early shipping request for those folks departing early for some land touring - or whatever - prior to the cruise.
  7. Were you provided a Canada Post tracking number? PCL should be sending that thru like they do for American guests who get a USPS tracking number.
  8. PCL charges 1/2 price for children. I would expect no charge for a toddler. The menus are are posted on Princess.com. You could review and see if something suitable might be available. You don't bring your own food to SD locations and they don't offer anything beyond their own menu choices. I kind of doubt someone can be on a res and occupy a chair in SD without paying.
  9. No doubt the old $40/$45 WMD has to be gone as that pricing makes no sense at all in terms of the other SD and Experiential Dining options. Was there any mention if they do the new Caymus dinner on the ship? With SD at $39 (CG, Catch), it isn't a stretch to be paying about $64 USD for a dinner with 4 wines. When I last did one like this, I was able to get an extra glass of the final wine (the Mondavi flagship). Thanks for posting the menu. I am a fan of the UBD - if we happen to have a Balcony. I think it is up to $110 now (from $100). This WMD at $128/couple seems not out of range considering other pricing.

  11. One could certainly posit the case that is unfair that Standard Fare guests can remove CA, but Plus/Premier cannot. Not that I am interested in removing CA, regardless of my Fare option (it will likely never be anything other than Standard).
  12. That makes perfect sense. Should no question there in 99% of minds.
  13. I did hear that once. I do know that if you wait too long to do the survey, they don't allow it. That is disappointing. I didn't get to them all last Fall in time, but three were for same ship.
  14. Any post with the newest added post appears at the top of the list on page one - but underneath the several stickies that are always on top. And even that group gets some re-ordering when a new post is added.
  15. IMO, it pays to keep on top of anything to do with airline bookings. They reschedule flights. The cancel flights. They change equipment. Connection time can get altered. Almost anything can change and you aren't always notified timely. I watch my airline reservations almost like a hawk.
  16. J, I believe the crew mentions were mainly taken into consideration for promotions or possible extra training. At least that is mostly what I have read. Also, you must be aware how much crew appreciates getting a good review write-up. I'd like to think it makes at least a little bit of a difference.
  17. Shhhh.. it's an "inside" secret. 😉
  18. I presume you quoted for two people. Take out $840 for Plus and cruise fare is $764/pp. That is not much more than $100/night for a Balcony. Good deal IMO. If you only quoted for one person, it doesn't look like a good deal.
  19. Must be the same guy was in our dining section back in Fall 2019. LOL. Did he have a top hat and a straight cane or walking stick?
  20. Right. @memoak, your email address is only for purposes so CC admin can reach you.
  21. LOL... I would certainly second that emotion.
  22. Pre-cruise, the app should offer the Medallion Net at 50% off. This feature has had on-and-off bugs in the past, but I thought corrected. What may be the root cause is if the App is not recognizing your CC Member Level correctly. Check the Sea Witch color on the edge of your photo? Is it correct or is it Blue?
  23. I don't like it as it undermines our supposed benefit. But lucky you. Keep an eye on those bookings as they my not stick for 600 days.
