  1. We were just recently on Serenade in an OS and are D+. SL offered comp drinks/snacks during Happy Hours 5-8pm. They didn't ask for our SeaPass card in there. We used our 5 drink pre-loaded vouchers any time in other venues. No difference in the lounge hours SL vs CL/DL on Radiance class but you will have to use a voucher in the CL/DL if you opt to go into that lounge, and we see no reason to do that. Vouchers are only given to C&A members based on your level. Booking a suite has nothing to do with those.....as you know.
  2. You can book your return from POM to MIA with a private company (we've used South Florida Shuttle and they provided a car seat) you can also book transfers with the cruiseline (large bus no car seat needed). Either option will work well for you. We have done both of these options and it's worked out great. The car seats we have been provided from rental companies and private shuttle companies have worked out well for us in the past as most all of them have been pretty much brand new wrapped in plastic. You do install them yourself due to liability but that way we are assured they were installed properly. Enjoy your cruise and you'll be glad you opted for making these transportation issues as easy as possible.
  3. You can also (we have) called the hotel directly and got a confirmation and have them input any requests you may have and your membership number (if you have one) so you'll get the free breakfast. Once booked with VT everything else is done directly with the hotel including cancellations 24 hours before arrival etc.
  4. Go to the end of the Malecon and just under the bridge there are tent vendors...we also go up the stairs or cross the swinging bridge at the end/middle of this area and there are many indoor type vendors in several buildings.
  5. Our October cruise we had good weather only rained in the afternoon in one of our ports but it was no big deal.
  6. We were on Serenade this past September and had great reception.
  7. For our extended family group of 4 adults and two kids we booked the Thrill Water Park Cabana for $699 and that was a great deal.
  8. We did the Panama Canal full transit this past October 2-15 2022 onboard Serenade. We had some great ports, loved our OS and booked it when it first opened at a great price and the best thing was it sailed from San Pedro our home port.
  9. Agree...Our extended family of 6 experienced the same great service from Cruise Control. We had plenty of time for our 12:30pm flight.
  10. Our extended family stayed at Home2Suites last April (loved this hotel) and had food delivered. The hotel has menu's from local places and lot's of people staying there were doing the same. They have a great pool area too.
  11. I think you've made the right decisions. We've also rented through Costco and used their provided toddler booster carseat, and I agree, drop the family and luggage off first and taxi or Uber to POM.
  12. If you're using the RCI transfers the early first shuttle (flights from noon to 1:30pm) to LAX departs at 8:00am. You might also want to consider doing self-assist (7:30am departure) using Uber/Lyft. If you can manage, this option would not only be less expensive but would give you direct service to your terminal drop off. We just did the self-assist in January and it was quick and easy.
  13. We (extended family) had the last 4 aft cabins on deck #9 onboard Harmony. We got a great deal on these when the bookings opened but these cabins we won't book again. Noise !!!!
  14. We were on Jan 20th for this same itinerary. Have it booked again for 2025 and might book for 2024 if we can fit it in our busy cruise schedule.
  15. I saw that, and I can also save an additional $200.00 on mine. This is an amazing deal !!
  16. Some of the activities are age specific and some can be limited to min 42"- 47" depending on activity.
  17. We booked with a vendor as we got off the ship shuttle in Sitka this past September. We went to the Fortress of the Bear and the Raptor center. We had an extended family of 6 that included 2 kids. I had checked with some private vendors but so glad we waited and did this one...so much cheaper. Easy to spot as they are holding a BIG sign and have a couple of buses waiting. We paid..jumped on the bus (that will easily hold your group) and were on our way. Our two grandkids absolutely loved this tour. In Ketchikan just walk up Creek Street to see the salmon run. We saw quite a few during our time frame.
  18. We've done Alaska 5 times with RCI and as recently as this past September and either do the roundtrip from Vancouver or the north bound. Our favorite ships are the Radiance & Serenade on this itinerary. The one this past September went to both Tracy Arm and Hubbard. We got extremely close to Hubbard and luckily have never missed it.
  19. Most all excursions have a minimum age requirement the one you quoted is 7 yrs. old and many are 5 yrs old. Luckily this past September our grandson was 5 and able to do the Deadliest Catch Tour in Ketchikan. He also did the summer musher camp in Juneau. These were two of his favorites. If the OP wants to go to the hatchery it's an easy walk up Creek street to get to it.
  20. Are you talking about that one little lobster tail...another one is hardly worth $17.00
  21. Not only excursions..everything can vary...regardless.
  22. Our fridge on Navigator last month was very cold. But agree with the above to contact special needs either online or 866 592-7225.
  23. That will depend on the weather in Juneau...For us it was getting dark and raining.
  24. Will they be adding an El Loco Fresh? We love this on Navigator.
