  1. We only eat in the WJ and wish RCI would have the option to opt out of MTD. We always get a call asking us where we are.
  2. We stayed at the Hampton Inn Suites this past October for our pre-cruise. Property recently completely renovated and very nice. Ruby Tuesdays wasn't open then and am surprised it has since then as it looked pretty deserted. IHOP was fine. Loved the location with a quick easy walk to the Mall.
  3. Yes...Thanks. It was March 3rd. After 14 nights at sea and a week visiting grandkids I was just having a senior moment.
  4. Sorry, but after reading the above posts I guess I was wrong to assume you were asking about Jayson the SL concierge aboard Liberty. Just a personal comment, he was great on our October Canada NE Liberty cruise.
  5. Just spent a night (May 3rd) at Hyatt Place. Still a favorite however only one of the elevators was working. Caused us no real problems.
  6. Just got off Explorer on Sunday but can't remember her name....but she was young and getting married in May to one of the senior staff (bridge) crew. She goes to the peek a boo window and waves at him when he's on duty.
  7. Even if they have two ships (doubtful) they more than likely sail different days.
  8. When Quantum shows up. Doubtful we'll get two ships. Navigator has been doing just fine.
  9. RCI hasn't been enforcing the assigned times, at least on our last 6 cruises.
  10. No, it's not a "cancel and rebook". That's a word you don't want to use. Always keep the same booking number.
  11. Not how we prefer to do things...but thanks anyway.
  12. I could care less about the 3/4 nighters. But very interested in what ship will replace Navigator. Darn I was hoping they would be released this week but I'll be onboard Explorer starting this Friday so perhaps I'll book onboard.
  13. We've opted to book (this Thursday for our pre-cruise night) the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon. They have a comp shuttle from MIA to their hotel. They have a for fee shuttle to the port or Uber/Lyft Taxi is an option. We haven't decided yet which will work out best for us....but we'll see Friday.
  14. Yes...Thanks, I believe you've answered my question. Appreciate the time you've taken.
  15. We have a SurfSide Family suite category cabin on Icon booked originally for us and our two grandchildren. They now can't go and I know I'll get their fees/taxes back. However I would like to pre-pay our gratuities can I just do it for the two of us? I don't want/need to cancel them (KSF) and take the chance that RCI will change our cabin since we'll be next door to some other family members.
  16. Yes...we have a Medicare plan with Aetna and the GeoBlue Trekker Choice. I know my Aetna plan won't pay out of US. Just trying to understand how this works. I used to purchase a 3rd party policy but at our age it's getting very expensive. Your thought if I should start considering a cruiseline policy in addition to my GB? Thank you so much for your help.
  17. But with a GeoBlue policy I can pay onboard and file a claim later making sure I have all the documentation right ? My question is will GeoBlue cover any onboard medical need even something small? Thanks for answering.
  18. These are a "Repositioning" cruise itinerary and they are no different than any other cruise except they leave from one port and end at another. Onboard activities will be the same. Weather can vary depending on time of year and itinerary.
  19. Sorry. After I file a claim. Thank you for trying to answer my lack of details question.
  20. Our last 6 RCI cruises arrival time hasn't been enforced.
