We're loyal RCI cruisers and so we love all their ships but we recently did our 2nd cruise with Celebrity (March 5th) on Summit and were blown away by all the new refurbishments they have done. Just a beautiful ship and the Ocean View Cafe...Oh My !!!!

We always do self assist disembark and would have no trouble making this flight. If you're an organized traveler with your 3yo your chances are good....if possible a bit later flight time might be better.

On our cruises from Cape Liberty (as recently as this past October) we have flown in/out of EWR and opted to come in at least a day before staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Elizabeth NJ. It's a great pre-cruise location and has been completely refurbished. They also have a comp shuttle to the hotel from EWR.

Those 2025 aren't out yet...you're way too early. Once the 2025 rates comes out possibly Oct 2024 you'll be able to see rates. When you book you do need to give a credit card to hold the reservation but nothing is charged until you're at the hotel.

We cruise (RCI) often from San Pedro during this time and weather is usually great.

Recently on Liberty, and yes...the slot machines have no problem taking your SeaPass card.

Viator isn't always the best option...check to see if your rollcall might have something booked you can join. JMHO.

For my May 18th cruise on Icon nothing on the cruise planner but I was able to book all the shows our group of 6 wants on the app. Only had one small time issue but I'll ask the SL Concierge to adjust that when I get the email from them just before we sail.

We just did a noon flight out of EWR this past October off Liberty and had plenty of time with self disembark.

Yes...the flight crews use Travel Pro and at the recommendation of our family member who's a retired UA Captain is why we bought the same years ago.

I would have been looking at flights as soon as they were released and more than likely would have booked them soon after.

All our luggage is Travel Pro...just amazing how their holding up over the many years, miles and horrible treatment they've had.

We did this/similar tour with RCI several years ago and it worked out great for us, who usually don't book cruiseline excursions. You'll be glad you booked this one.

I've usually used VT for booking the Hyatt Place in Fort Lauderdale. But am now even more impressed with their customer service. I booked 2 rooms with them for mid May two weeks ago and requested double beds in both for 4 adults/2 kids. I called Hyatt Place yesterday to confirm since I hadn't received VT original confirmation yet (I know it usually takes about 10 days) and they confirmed but had us booked in king beds and said they could not change it only VT could. I emailed VT last night and got a confirmation email today verifying the double beds. I then called HP and they confirmed double beds and confirmed VT called HP this morning and confirmed. I had no idea they would do this especially so quickly. So let me just say VT is great !!

Of course it happens on all RCI ships. We were just on Explorer Feb 23rd in an OS and the concierge emailed us a week before departure.

These large shuttle bus's your 5 year old will be fine with a seatbelt. If you want a child car seat you'll have to book with a private company that provides them.

Just remember you don't get the Hyatt points when booking with VT.

If you're a Costco member check out their rental rates.

Don't ever put cruise tags on before a flight. Just get the tags at your port and don't stress over this as it couldn't be easier.
