  1. It can vary significantly week-to-week/ship-to-ship. My advice? Keep checking! 🙂
  2. I'm surprised they don't have an Express Delivery option for an additional $5...
  3. It's similar to how, for Platinum and diamond guests, it's essentially a scavenger hunt for your earned perks. I have found that ordering room service is not as simple as it used to be. Either hunting for a menu that doesn't exist or trying to use codes that don't work. It can be frustrating. One would think that since they are turning this into more of a source of additional revenue, that they would make sure that ordering is a breeze.
  4. Funny... I was reading this and received an email from our shoreside concierge at Celebrity (upcoming sailing on the Reflection), and I thought "yep, it's definitely worth more upfront to get more - and not have to pay extra for a PB&J sandwich"! We managed to book a B2B on Celebrity in a RS for under $5k/wk. Yes, that's a chunk of change - but it's essentially all inclusive. We'll have tips covered, premium beverage package, Wi-Fi, specialty dining, suite restaurant, 2 liters of alcohol in our cabin (each week), etc... yes, a true vacation! We used to sail Carnival exclusively - and then decided to try another line perhaps 15 years ago. It was sooooooo nice to be able to have full/hot room service breakfast delivered to our cabin - white table cloth included. I've wasted my breath with Carnival for years, asking them to offer the same... or at a certain past guest level... or for those in suites. I was briefly hopeful that we'd at least see a coffee maker in the room when they promoted their Excel Suites on the Mardi Gras, only to have that perk pulled from the list only weeks prior to sailing. Yes - two different products, appealing to - and targeting - different groups of people. Having said all of this - we still enjoy Carnival and, when we sail with them, we just adjust our expectations. I'm REALLY looking forward to our ABC sailing on the Celebration next May - and the sizable OBC we'll both receive for our Milestone (75th) Rewards. Excerpt from today's Celebrity email: Additionally, as guests in one of our top suites, we are pleased to offer a complimentary minibar that is stocked daily. I was able to retrieve your previous mini bar selections from your previous sailing with us on the Celebrity Reflection that departed on February 26th, 2022, as follows:• (2) Grey Goose • San Pellegrino • Club Soda• Sierra Nevada Pale Ale • Decaf Coffee and Decaf Tea• English breakfast tea• Heavy whipping cream• Lime slices• Coffee machine and tea kettle in suite• And a fanAs I would love the opportunity to have these Royal Suite Class Amenities available to you upon your arrival, please kindly confirm if these are still correct or choose from the attached liquor list.I am delighted to let you know that you will receive unlimited complimentary Specialty Dining. Arranging for your dining plans before sailing will give you more time to relax and enjoy the Celebrity Reflection. Please find the attached sample menus for our Specialty Restaurants aboard the Celebrity Reflection to give you an idea of what each of them offer, ...
  5. Not sure how it works on the Silhouette - but the only time the LCG was open on the (Feb '22) Reflection for lunch was on sea days, and both times it was the burger menu.
  6. If you find yourself in Orlando at some future date, seek out Gideon's ! Almost like eating cookie dough (but the best dough you can imagine). Tom
  7. We thoroughly enjoyed the LCG on the Reflection for lunch in February. I was really looking forward to the "burger lunch", and was not disappointed. Other days, we could be found at The Porch for lunch. Those two places were factors in booking our B2B over Thanksgiving for this year. You can bet there are more burgers in my future! To say it wasn't busy was an understatement - but that's OK with me (if they can afford to keep it open that way)! Not too many people willing to shell out that much for a burger. With the right cabin booked, it's "included", so - why not? ! Signature Burger - honestly one of the best I've ever had. Now, the question... will it be possible to step into that same river TWICE? ! 😄 Tom
  8. Thanks I'd rather endure a little hoity toity fawning than have to wait and try to get the attention of a stretched-too-thin server in a bustling dining room. 🙂 Tom
  9. When dining in the Haven for dinner, is it possible to order from the MDR menu? Tom
  10. I want to say yes, but there's a chance I'm mixing up cruises. I know last year I rolled snake eyes twice w/regard to holidays and Prime Rib. 🙂
  11. Yep - no Turkey dinner from Emeril... just a knock-your-socks-off gumbo. B A M !!!
  12. I ... REALLY ... dislike special/holiday meals onboard. Last Thanksgiving we cruises and that happened to be "Formal" night, so Turkey instead of Prime Rib... fast forward to Christmas, yep, Christmas was on formal night as well, and they kicked Prime Rib off AGAIN!!! Tom
  13. I think that Celebrity is trying to save on postage... 😉 Tom
  14. You know... $5 bets are quickly becoming a thing of the past. It's not like I have a $5 chip up there and slip one of these under it - it's more like it's going under a green or black chip. They really should be $25 match play coupons... Tom
  15. The match play coupons used to be easily utilized as they were on the CC sheets in your cabin at embarkation (I'm sure you knew that - but, I'm just stating that for others 🙂 ) - now I think you can go to the cage to request this? I've never done that, so I'm not sure. Regarding the chips/slots promo - you can go into your cruise planner and look for "Casino", on that page it gives the deets (some of that pasted below - but basically you get $5 in free/promo chips or slot play for every $50 you purchase pre-cruise. 16. That's always the catch. We've encountered some real "gems"... Tom
  17. That's what happened on our February Reflection sailing. When we signed on, there were already two other couples, so the two of us added enough to make it happen. Over the intervening couple of days, both other couples bowed out (I wonder if they learned we had signed up, and bailed - lol). Tom
  18. It's not so much that they lied, it's just that there's different "truths" for different people ! 😉 Tom
  19. Roughly what % of the casino space is smoking vs. non-smoking? Tom
  20. The people they (all lines) pick for their model/guests rarely reflect reality. I don't think I've encountered the James Bond guy in the casino on any lines, nor the young thing by his side... Tom
  21. Thrown in some buffalo wings in the sports bar, and I'd be there! (not for the sports, but for the wings 😉 ) Tom
  22. More than likely just ~$200-300ish port fees/taxes. In the recent past, it's been "cruise only". They'd likely be able to let you add on the perks (for $). Tom
