Well, you don’t really know ahead of time how long the wait will be. But, personally, I would have given it about 5 minutes and then decided to forget about it or deal with it on board.

Currently, if you go to the Celebrity website and try to book an Aqua Class cabin you aren’t given the choice to book Cruise-Only or All Included like you are with lesser categories. You are automatically given All Included.

The current Cruise-Only rate excludes Aqua Class and Suite cabins.

A thorn by any other name … Princess calls it “crew appreciation”, Norwegian calls it “service charge”. It really hasn’t been a gratuity since the cruise lines made it virtually mandatory.

The cruise only rate is not available for Suite or Aqua Class cabins, so you don’t have it.

On our mid-April Millennium cruise, they were serving drinks at the back of the theater but no service after you sat down.

As of 3/14/2022, the next renovation of Solstice is scheduled for Feb 2026. No indication whether it will be revolutionized or just renovated.

You may not wear shorts in the MDR at dinner, but it seems sometimes you can.
