  1. I think most cabins you pay a few thousand dollars a day for have a dining table.
  2. Well, you don’t really know ahead of time how long the wait will be. But, personally, I would have given it about 5 minutes and then decided to forget about it or deal with it on board.
  3. US law applies to ships when they are in US territorial waters. State laws apply when a ship is docked in the state. Also, some Florida laws apply to cruise lines that are headquartered in Florida.

  8. Unless it’s changed post-Covid: WE IMPLEMENTED CHILDREN’S PRICING IN ALL OF OUR SPECIALTY RESTAURANTS. Kids ages 6-12 will dine for lunch & dinner at our specialty restaurants at a discounted rate of $10 from the standard dinner menu. • Ages 5 and under will dine for free. • Children will be able to dine from the standard dinner menu in each restaurant. In Tuscan Grille, there’s also a separate “Italian Favorites” menu that children can choose from if they’d prefer for the same price. • Children’s pricing not available for premium experiences including Daniel Boulud Chef’s Table, Connoisseur dinners, Food and Wine pairing dinners, Moveable Feast, etc. • For pre-cruise purchases guests need to book at full price and once onboard we will apply an onboard credit accordingly (5 years and under full cover charge credit; 6 years to 12 years at discounted rate).
  9. Currently, if you go to the Celebrity website and try to book an Aqua Class cabin you aren’t given the choice to book Cruise-Only or All Included like you are with lesser categories. You are automatically given All Included.
  10. The current Cruise-Only rate excludes Aqua Class and Suite cabins.
  11. A thorn by any other name … Princess calls it “crew appreciation”, Norwegian calls it “service charge”. It really hasn’t been a gratuity since the cruise lines made it virtually mandatory.
  12. The cruise only rate is not available for Suite or Aqua Class cabins, so you don’t have it.
  13. On our mid-April Millennium cruise, they were serving drinks at the back of the theater but no service after you sat down.
  14. As of 3/14/2022, the next renovation of Solstice is scheduled for Feb 2026. No indication whether it will be revolutionized or just renovated.
  15. You may not wear shorts in the MDR at dinner, but it seems sometimes you can.
  16. Not only will you be sure to get it, but you will get the additional CC points, and possibly upgraded internet and drink package depending on what you upgrade from.

  18. If it’s a Celebrity ship, it’s either April, May or September.
  19. She will also need a form of identification like a drivers license or official state ID card. If she happens to live in a state that has the enhanced drivers license, and she has one, she shouldn’t need the birth certificate or marriage license.
  20. Federal age discrimination law really only applies to employment. While a lot of age discrimination is to the benefit of older people (senior discounts, etc.) no law prevents it from going the other way.
  21. And I’ve cruised where items bought on the last full day were just given to you as opposed to being delivered.
  22. And to confuse it even more there’s soon to be an Ultra Deluxe Veranda cabin (the current Family Ocean View with Veranda).
  23. They’re not good for blow dryers, but if you’re looking for another spot to plug in a charger ….
  24. The way the world is these days, if you need to have a specific product, I’d bring it along even if the ship generally carries it.
