  1. I’m not sure if the Signature Suite is less than a RS, but it’s cheaper and includes the laundry service.
  2. Good idea. If all that happens with an inheritance is that it gets passed on from generation to generation, it’s the same as not having one.
  3. Most TAs have as many port stops as a typical Caribbean cruise, they just have an extra weeks worth of sea days.
  4. I’m not sure it’s a glitch so much as them preferring you choose a time even if you’re not required to.
  5. Johnny Cash didn’t have a first name either, it was just J. R., the Air Force wouldn’t allow it, so he put in John.
  6. 95+% probability they will be the two sea days.
  7. It’s basically the same wording they’ve used for a long time with Always Included, I’d be shocked if it hadn’t been run by legal.
  8. If say, they made Elite or above equivalent to 100 VS days, it would nice to get 5% off the fare and free laundry (especially on longer cruises).
  9. And Royal Caribbean tops out at Discoverer for Azamara. Celebrity and Azamara reciprocity goes all the way up. Unfortunately no reciprocity for any of us with Silversea.
  10. Also, balance transfers, annual fee payment, finance charges, late payment charges, etc. Basically, if you buy a product/service it’s probably included.
  11. The address as written is bad, no email address has two @‘s in it.
  12. Most ships I’ve been on have the low capacity outlet in the bathroom, I’ve always assumed it was a safety issue. Also, getting a euro-us converter is a help.
  13. If you see a wine on the MDR list that looks better to you than the ones on the Luminae list, ask for it. They should be able to accommodate you. If not, I’d have a talk with someone.
  14. Keep in mind that at least one of those Big Box TAs doesn’t participate in the MoveUp program, so if you think you might interested in a MoveUp don’t use them.
  15. Using the surf access I didn’t notice any speed difference from my iPad.
  16. The price is $20/day unless you have status that gets you a discount. On our last cruise it wasn’t prorated by day. It was full price to upgrade during the first half of the cruise, and half price to upgrade after that until maybe the last day.
  17. That cruise, Thunder Bay to Toronto, would not be a problem from the US perspective. Maybe there’s a problem from the Canadian side.
  18. Maybe it’s both. PVSA for transporting the people and Jones for transporting their baggage. 😏
  19. If doesn’t, it relates to transporting cargo from one US port to another. People often get it mixed up with the Passenger Vessel Service Act which relates to transporting people from one US port to another.
  20. And you may test positive for up to 90 days, even though you likely don’t have current case of Covid. That’s the point of a Certificate of Recovery.
  21. From the Healthy at Sea FAQs at the Celebrity website: If vaccination is medically contraindicated because of a disability or pre-existing medical condition; if I am not vaccinated for religious reasons, who should I contact? Please contact our Access Department at (866) 592-7225 or locally (954) 628-9708 or send an email to special_needs@celebrity.com so that our team can guide you on what documents will need to be submitted for consideration. You should contact them as soon as possible and ideally no later than 30 days before your cruise departs. You can also have your local travel agent or International Representative contact us. Should you require it, our fax number is (954) 628-9622.
  22. You can apply for a religious or medical exemption, not sure how many are granted.
  23. On our recent Panama Canal cruise, they had afternoon lectures, the captain gave a talk on navigation, a comedy bit with the captain and cruise director, and 2-3 days where the entertainment staff, including guest entertainers, put on shows. I think there was something in the theater every sea day afternoon, and some mornings.
  24. I don’t know if it’s still in effect, but two or so years ago the Miami USCG station discontinued providing medevac services to cruise ships.
