Unbelievable pricing. We’re off with our tail between our legs to Princess. We had their top suite for 14 nights recently for way under the cost of the Magic Carpet suite listed above. Going on the Edge next month, but am pretty sure it will be our 12th and last Celebrity cruise, which saddens me.

They are now missing from our menu for our cruise next month. Will be asking for them though and see what happens.

Gosh, they are making way too many cutbacks. Their prices for next year are outrageous anyway. We are sailing on Edge soon, our 12th Celebrity cruise, but am pretty sure we will be voting with our feet and cruising other lines in future.

Looks a pretty bad menu. I’d be off to the buffet. Changed a bit since our last cruise on The Solstice in 2020. We are sailing on The Edge in a few weeks but have booked quite a few Speciality restaurants due to the menus.

We priced up a Sky suite on Beyond for the Caribbean 2024/25 and it was the same price as Silversea.

Thank you that is good to know. At the moment we haven’t been invited to move up, but it looks like we can do this through the X website within 21 days of our cruise.

We are also booked in a Sky suite and would be very interested in bidding on an Edge Villa. Can I ask you what the minimum bid was, so I have some idea of how much extra it would be. You don’t have to answer!

Firstly, I do hope you feel better soon. Would particularly like to know whom to contact to get a coffee brought up from Al Bacio on request. Also how the reserved theatre seating would work. Our butler used to look out for us. Hope you can get to enjoy the rest of your cruise.

Paying more and getting less.

I was wondering how they deliver breakfast. I will be extremely disappointed if the table is not set up as before for room service breakfast. This is what you are paying for and if the retreat team cannot provide this along with our specialty coffees, they are not providing when I booked and paid for my SS 4 weeks ago. I had no idea about this new policy when we booked, it was still advertised as previous cruises. I have mobility issues, so just popping up to Al Bacio when I wake up is not an easy task. We sail 3 weeks on Saturday, so will report back.

I’m getting the same message. Wondering if we are not eligible to bid for some reason.

Can someone tell me how to find the Luminae menu on the App. We sail 23rd September in a Sky Suite on Edge. I can see all the other dining options and Menus.

Have a look at Explora cruises. They are new and currently only have one ship sailing. All suites and all inclusive. Expensive, but their entry level suites are a reasonable price on some of their sailings.

We will be putting the Retreat team to the test on Edge next month and see how we get on. Haven’t been with Celebrity for a while due to their high prices, having cruised with Princess for the last 2 years, but have decided to give them another shot. Paid in full, only then to hear about the Butlers. We may be running back to Princess with our tails between our legs.

On Princess recently we foolishly sent some t shirts and a couple of my dresses. Unfortunately all ruined as obviously washed at high temperatures. We are going on Edge soon and will bring most of our dirty laundry home.

Think we will ask the Retreat Team for our coffee and Almond Croissant from Al Bacio. Will report when we are back on 30th September.

There are so many little things that our Butler has done for us on previous cruises. For example, our Butler has brought us coffee from Al Bacio every morning. I’m thinking this will be something that is no longer feasible unless the Retreat team is very large. I’m just not sure how this is going to work, without a significant drop in the overall Suite experience. Only time will tell.

Be interesting to see if The Retreat Team will do our unpacking!

Does anybody know how to book the Magic Carpet for dinner? When I booked the other speciality restaurants, the only option for booking this was for 10.00 am on departure day? This will be our first cruise on an Edge Class Ship and we will be on Edge.

Yes that is what it is offering us as well.
