  1. The paper you have from Carnival when you booked which ... a suite or FTTF?
  2. FWIW, YTD is not that bad! With the new seating system through the HUB app, I have always been seated in the same section (often at the same table) without requesting it. You will likely always have the same servers and have the same personalized experience that you expect in the MDR.
  3. I'm going to play devil's advocate here for just a minute ... what if the waiter meant he could only serve one at a time, not that the OP had to "finish" the first one before being served the second??
  4. Just so you are aware, you can also carry on sodas at each port stop, if necessary.
  5. Special nights in the dining room? Are you asking about Cruise Elegant nights?
  6. except rooms ready upon arrival. FTTF will allow you to drop luggage, but with suites, they are ready when you board.
  7. Those were included as a suite guest when we had a suite in August.
  8. We had a suite in August and our suite perks exceeded those you would get with FTTF. We priority embarkation, priority water shuttles, priority debarkation, priority line at GS, and rooms ready upon boarding.
  9. The benefits are per-person, not per-stateroom. So, yes, you each get laundry and all other benefits.
  10. Fair enough. I started cruising with Carnival in 2012. Somewhere along the way they must have discontinued the practice.
  11. Carnival has never given the cup with the package. There are many available, with one particular style discounted if you have BB.
  12. Never. Mine almost always arrive just seconds before my emailed receipt does. I hope they aren't having the same issues that AARP had recently.
  13. You didn't. To be fair, though, that was a reasonable assumption, since this is a Carnival forum. It also serves to level-set expectations for any cruisers who may be on this forum and new to Carnival or not familiar with how debarkation tags are distributed today.
  14. Things that you are required to bring in your carry-on: Any non-alcoholic drinks. Your allowed wine Medical supplies (including all medications) Identification and boarding paperwork Things you should bring in your carry-on: Electronics Any valuables/cash/credit cards Things you should consider brining in your carry-on: One change of clothes per person Toiletries Swimsuits
  15. Carnival no longer "assigns" tag numbers. You pick them up at the designated locations (unless you are P/D or in a suite). There would be no way for Carnival to "look up" what area your bag was "assigned" to.
  16. Walkie Talkies don't work and annoy everyone around you (as you can see by the responses above). The Carnival HUB app messaging is only as reliable as the person using it. Granted, it has some glitches, but has typically worked fine for us. You have to remember to LEAVE THE APP OPEN IN THE BACKGROUND AT ALL TIMES! I do confess to checking it periodically because the issue that I have is not with receiving messages, but that the notifications aren't always reliable.
  17. There is really no way to tell. It depends on the particular berth that they get, what port it is, and a whole variety of things that I have no idea about. Some ports they go front in and some they back in.
  18. To summarize (because that's just how I roll): You can get a "sit-down" breakfast/brunch in the MDR every day. Hours and menu will vary based on whether it is a port day or a sea day. You can get a "counter serve" breakfast at multiple venues on the Lido which are not on the buffet. The omelette station is also a "counter serve" option, although it is located within the buffet area.
  19. From the letter that came out 11/2 - "And remember, you can always ask for a half-portion if something looks too enticing to pass up."
  20. The key word there being "usually." I would guess that your 2nd day at HMC is an early back on board. If so, that is your first elegant night.
  21. Elegant evenings are almost always the second evening and then normally the second to last evening.
  22. Alternatively, you can just make that image your lock screen image. No need to deface your phone.
  23. Mine has all of these lumps in it. Can't figure out where they came from or how to get rid of them 🤣
  24. So sorry for your loss. Yes, wait until you board to purchase Cheers. Also, wait until they have closed the doors for further boarding, at which time they will know that your cabinmate has not boarded. If you have issues purchasing at a bar, please go to GS where they will help you.
