  1. You can do a mock booking of the cruise. I saw about 2 dozen left, looks like our cruise will be sold out : (
  2. Same cruise as me. Their are a number of balcony cabins still available on deck 14 and 13 and a number of aft balconies. Better they blocked the cabin if they found it had a problem they couldn't fix Before you got in it.
  3. Lousy day to get back to NYC. Raining and 42F.... at least it's not a blizzard..... that's next weekend Lol
  4. The time limit on the heated loungers is 30 minutes. I have to admit I've fallen asleep more than once on them and went over the time limit Lol
  5. My wife and I have parked at pier 88 for several cruises. Once you drive up the ramp, pay and make your way down to the actual parking lot you pull in and have your vehicle checked. After this I always pull over to the right by the elevator. My wife gets out with the luggage and I go and park. I've seen a number of people do the same with passengers who needed a wheel chair. You can drop them off about 20ft from the elevator
  6. Thanks, I figured as much just wasn't sure. I know enough from living in an area that gets snow to be prepared. Shovel in car, Boost Pack for jumping a battery and to park facing out
  7. Does anyone know if they plow the pier if it snows? I do plan to have a shovel in my car just in case
  8. Easter is on the 9th. All the schools in my area are off the week before, not the week after
  9. To be fair all we know right now is Puerto Plata is on our itinerary and we are supposed to dock there. Hopefully that will happen, if not I really hope NCL has a good alternative.... and three days at sea is not one of them Lol
  10. It's pretty funny. As a former boater I don't know who thought this up. It's a proposal.... it will never pass anything. The intention was good but the execution was terrible
  11. I took your suggestion and made a half dozen. Great idea!
  12. Here's a couple tours.... The Escape has a snow room. Its about 22F with a small snow machine inside it
  13. I'll be curious to see what happens on our cruise. Our first time in the Haven we did not ask for anything. This time around I sent an email and ask for certain pillows, and almond milk for my wife in the fridge. I'll be happily surprised if everything is correct. They did respond with an email saying everything would be taken care of.
  14. Everyone got $50 OBC, I don't remember what we got back in port fee's from missing Bermuda
  15. You need to read the fine print. We had a Bermuda cruise out of NYC diverted because of a hurricane that never even hit Bermuda. We wound up go to Florida (PC). We were then suppose to go to Nassau and GSC. Nassau then got cancelled and when we got to GSC is was too windy to stop. So our 7 day cruise ended up going to Florida and back to NYC with one stop LOL. Lots of angry cruisers that week
  16. Exactly.... Amber Cove can only take 2 ships, its pier is only so long. IDK if ships ever tender to Amber Cove
  17. Thats what I'm afraid of, if we miss it will have three sea days in a row back to NYC
  18. I was planning to do a day by day "Live" review.... kind of rethinking it. I'm not sure if I want to do any work Lol
  19. Have a great time! We get on the day you get back for a 12 day
  20. A Haven Penthouse suite is the way to go. I believe they are the cheapest Haven cabins on the ship. My wife and I are in Haven Spa Penthouse. It was the second cheapest Haven cabin when we booked
  21. I really hope they don't skip a port, that would mean three sea days going home. Hopefully we dock in Taino or end up a GSC. We can skip Nassau Lol
