  1. Good question. I wonder this as well.
  2. I agree, I have eaten at Hot Rocks before and they cooked my meal. No need for anyone to cook anything if that is how they prefer it.
  3. Hi Todd, depends on the time of year really. I just really like the Riverside. Of course folks who prefer a beach property will have plenty of choices there too.
  4. Hi Cynthia, a good mudslide isn't too sweet really. If made properly it should be tasting like a boozy milkshake🙂
  5. Hi Ryan, another compliment on your "live from" and now that you mentioned being a writer? No wonder it is a great read. It all flows and is so very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing the experience with the rest of us.🙂
  6. Hi Terry, I am not a picture taker so I can't provide any visuals. As for the food, being totally honest, I sailed Moon back in 2021 and it was a Greek Itinerary so I know they had plenty of Greek dishes on the menu in SALT but I really don't remember the items. (it has been 2 years since that cruise). And even on my 2 Dawn cruises, I can't recall the menu. One was in Spain and it was the cruise I had hurt my leg (not sure if you remember that) but I didn't have a big appetite on that sailing. My most recent cruise on the Dawn was in January around the Caribbean. I think I ate in SALT about 3 times. One was a fish dish, one a pork and one a steak. I enjoyed all of them. I will be on the Dawn again in August going to the British Isles. I have no clue what will be served in SALT.........Fish and Chips? Prime Rib Roast and Yorkshire Pudding? Will just have to wait and see.🙂
  7. I have sailed Moon and Dawn (not to Norway) but I always enjoy SALT. I can say (from my experience) sometimes the menu has specific items to the countries on the itinerary and sometimes they also offer items geared to "the region"...If you eat there all 14 nights? You might see the same things but if you spread out the dining experience, you will probably find more options. I know SALT always has varying opinions as we all like different things. Personally, I love the concept and the food too🙂 but I don't think I would eat there for 2 weeks straight. Lots of other options are good as well🙂 Now, maybe there is someone who has done this itinerary while on this ship and can give you a first hand experience. I hope you have a great cruise🙂
  8. Hi girls, well, I just did 2 days in a row of the volunteering at the Hospital. The gal in charge of the whole volunteer program is very nice and the gal who works the reception area is as well. That is where I started and went yesterday and today for just under 3 hours each time. I got there about 9:15and worked till just before noon. I am going back Thursday morning and then will figure out which days next week. It is a pretty nice atmosphere and they were kind and helpful to me as well. I do know they are remodeling the gift shop and the pharmacy and once that is finished I am going to give the gift shop a chance and see what that is like. I was told that would be in September so we'll see how it goes. Anyway, just wanted to fill you in on my new "work thing".........LOL.........
  9. Terry, I think a few of those "top" golfers just want to win this major. Not going to get into the $$$ part on here but when it comes to the "Majors" (just my opinion)....I think winning those 4 tournaments is the thing. And yes, I watched till the end last night and will do the same this evening. Scheffler's Eagle on 17 from the fairway was something else! And your pup is just so cute😃
  10. I know this is usually a "gals thread" but I want to wish all the Dad's, Grandpa's, Great Grandpa's, and to those who serve in that space a Very Happy Father's Day🙂 Thinking about mine (as I always do) but especially today.......my Dad was truly my best friend and I still miss him every day. Today is the final round of the US OPEN and we would always watch it together. Those memories now bring me great joy. Anyway, hope all of you have a great day.
  11. Good morning, just about 70 days.......have you popped over to the roll call?
  12. I also want to wish ALL the Dad's, Grandpa's, Great Grandpa's, Step Dads and anyone who fills that space......a Very Happy Father's Day. Today is the final round of the US OPEN and my dad would always watch this together (along with lots of other sporting events). Those memories always bring me great joy and I still miss him every day. He was my best friend..........

See the post#8, they said they were in a Silver Suite and received one.

    tote bag?

To the OP, so it seems the higher end suites do receive these items.
  15. Hi Ryan, enjoying your "live from" very much😃it all sounds like the family is having a good time. Are your kids the only ones on board? When you mentioned your teachers got tired of "going to Europe year after year".......that is something that never happened when I was a kid. Sounds like you had a more cultured school experience. I went to camp for summer vacation.

    tote bag?

Hi, I have never received a tote bag. I usually book a Classic Veranda and they have never been a part of the cabin accessories.
  17. Hi Mysty, I received that same email. Although, I will never be able to do a WC. Guess I am on their mailing list.
  18. Just for clarification, SE 3rd Ave is downtown. You will have to take a cab/uber, etc....to get to that CVS.
  19. Good morning, I really don't need to look for anything. I have 2 pieces that I have been using for years now and they do great but sometimes I just like to see what is out there.
